I have bought the non-Apple cables and those can be ok too as long as you buy a better quality brand like Anker. So stock up when these are on sale and then you will be ready when the inevitable happens ...

Tried multiple brands and I always go back to Apple. Apple brands charging cords tend to fall apart but they work until all the insides are outside. Then I throw away a perfectly good looking cord of the other brands bc it doesn’t work. So a couple extra dollars is worth it.

A must for iphone users

The other end is a USB which connects well to the car for charging the iphone and connecting it to Apple carplay. The cable is long enough which is well thought of. It is an Apple product so I wished it will last long because the price is expensive.

Nothing like Apple Original Accessories

I noticed after the latest ios 13 update I was having issues connecting to Apple Car Play in one of my cars, changed the cable to this one...no issues...
