The original Apple cords are the best cords. They seem to last longer, work better and the small size of the plugs mean they fit into cases better than others.

This cord is a bit longer than the standard that comes with a new phone, but super handy! Love that it's an Apple product which insures safety and compatability

The lightning connector contact points tends to wear out very quickly, thru frequently inserting and removing it for charging. The connection points seem to be pressed onto a paper backing, then glued to the connector end. After I've had a lightning to USB connector for a while, I find that I have to jiggle it around for a while before it will make contact. In my opinion, this is a cheaply made lightning charge connector. For what Apple charges for replacements, they could have done a better job.

I love the quality and the length of it is so good that you won’t have to worry if it’s long enough whether you take it for home or work

I always buy Apple cables, even with the option of a MiFi certified unit I will choose the manufacturers cables. They charge must faster and die less quickly

I have bought many aftermarket chargers and I keep coming back to Apple due to the superior quality. To many aftermarket start to fail after 6 months.

The cord is great, but the one thing is that it wears away too quickly! The price is expected as everything from Apple is overpriced, but I wish it would last longer than 3 or 4 months. I've had to purchase it about 3 times for my iPad. Other than that, it charges my devices really well.

It’s a Apple cable not really much to say other than it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and you pay few dollars extra for it being made by Apple

I should have purchased the longer cord but this does the job. Spend the money and get the authentic Apple chargers. Generic chargers have messed up my iPhone.

Paying more for the apple charging equipment is beneficial. I have never had the issue of the phone not recognizing the cord and the charging process is very fast.

I have tried all the cheaper charge cords online and none of them last half as long as the apple cords. Apple cords are short, but still the best way to go.

This little cord has lasted for such a long time. I would recommend this however you can always find them cheaper somewhere else.

other cords have not lasted and often cause errors with the phone - these seem to never have that issue. Always prefer the Apple brand for iphones.

At my house Lightening to USB cables never seem to last due to my kids yanking/pulling on the wires to unplug them instead of grabbing the end where it plugs into the phone. Seems like the ones produced under the Apple name may last slightly longer.

I needed this for my car in order for my apple car play to work. It’s just the right length and It charges my phone faster than the one I had before

I always thought that getting off brand products really didn't make a difference, but I honestly feel like my Apple products charge fast with Apple brand cords.

Apple lightening charging cable is just what I needed. The one that came with the phone is still working fine. I purchased a second, this one for use in my car.

In my experience, only the OEM apple cables stand the test of time. I've gone through lots of cheap cables, and they always seem to die quickly.
