Although there are a couple options of the aftermarket chargers, a bestbuy employee said one was better than the other as one brand tends to give out faster and they both cost $6 and $8 more than the Apple brand. I’m satisfied with the Apple charger and it charges my phone fast.

This magic wire......

If I have one complaint though, it’s that over time the rubber casing breaks and exposes the wire. It’s just something that happens over time and with repeated use so it’s not a big problem. My one before this lasted about two years, so I did get good use out of it before needing the new one I just purchased.

Apple OEM Charging Cable

I bought another cable, not from Best Buy that wasn't Apple. Even though I was assured it would charge my iPhone 8 Plus it did not. So I returned it and went to Best Buy and bought the Apple cable which works great. I should have done that in the first place.

Great Charging Cord for Ipad

So Purchased a New Cord & It's Worked Fine. Thanks Geek Squad.
