    We had a perfectly good Apple iMac with a nonfunctioning power cord; this cord works just fine for recharging so we can continue. to use the computer.

    I honestly got this charger because my son decided he liked chewing cords, and my MacBook charger was in his eyesight. Luckily Best Buy had a few in stock.

    Lost my charger and had purchased a knockoff brand charger. The unit broke in a week. Returned it and bought an authentic Apple charger. It’s worth a few extra bucks for reliability.
