The original cord that came from Apple frayed and split apart with little warning with no evidence of abuse. Not sure if this is common but hopefully the new cord will not do the same!!!

Product was fine but it doesn’t work with new MacBook Pro

The casing of Apple cords disintegrates too quickly for them to be so expensive. However, I will not use a generic brand on my expensive computer so I had to buy

The product bought is ok. The two stars are for my resentment to have to buy it at all. I use the MacBook Air until it looks like the car driven by a teenager. It is not cheep, and it can last, but the charger cannot last. Really, Apple? So far bough my sixth original charger, for the second MacBook. Extra expensive oversees where there was no Best Buy, no Apple store, and there was an emergency of a dying laptop.

It seems to heat up a lot, not as good as the first one.

Don’t buy from Best Buy. I was directed by a store employee to purchase this item for my granddaughter’s 14” Apple Mac Pro. It was a gift. Turns out it was incompatible and she tried to return it but it was 17 days past purchase. They would not accept a return. It had not been opened. I’m cancelling my account with Best Buy and will never go int their stores. They are NOT customer friendly.

Apple wants to much for these chargers, works fine but I'm still burned by the price.

Well this is my third one that i bought, they all have the same issue due to the fact it wears out around the connector to the laptop. I wish apple would fix it. This is the only charger they make for it.

I needed a new charger and went to purchase an apple version. It was a bit pricey but did the job.

Its an apple charger, it shouldn't be this expensive and it shouldn't need to be replaced to soon but it is what it is.

A little pricey, but is perfect for my work charger so I don’t have to carry a charger with me everywhere.

So, although I have the benefit of a "magsafe" charger to protect the charging port of my laptop, the quality of the power cable attached to the mag plug is a un-repairable fusible link as a result. Hey Apple, how about doubling or tripling the thickness and/or durometer of the cable and/or insulation where it attaches to the mag plug for about the first 8-10" or so? Additionally, how about making this cord a REPLACEABLE item from the mag plug to the square power converter? After all, the wall plug to the power converter is replaceable. I've had to buy three of these things at what.... $80 ish dollars full price because of this? and throw the rest away? Designed obsolescence. No thank you.

I'm synced to this charger because of my MacBook Pro but I've had two of these die for no apparent reason over the course of 3 years. This is not a good value but as a macbook pro owner, there's really not that many other options.

It is what it is. These don't last long and are overpriced.

The cords on previous adapters have frayed over time. This Apple product appears to be made the same way as the others. Apple should make this adapter with an interchangeable wire, so that a less expensive cord could be purchased when it frays. It’s wasteful and expensive to have to buy an entirely new adapter.
