Standard power adapter for Mac Book Pro

Of course, it works fine. The issue is that it is the only adapter available for that laptop model and unfortunately it is very expensive to replace. Wish that Apple would make some of their accessories more affordable or offer generic non-Apple branded replacements.

Only wall wart, no USB-C cable

You will have to buy your own USB-C cable. I bought this as a second adapter to keep it a different room, and had to separately buy the USB-C cable. For the price, they should really include a USB-C cable too.
