Knowing that these are an Apple product I already had high expectations. However I won't hesitate to say that I was truly blown away by these. I will admit when I first saw the concept of these I was a bit skeptical, but after trying them, I'm a believer. Rich, full sound, including surprisingly full range deep bass for such a small package. Flawless pairing, amazing range, clear voice quality both ways during phone calls. They don't fall out of my ears as I feared they would. Nevertheless, I did buy $10 silicone attachments off Amazon that gives them a bit of a more firm feel in the ear, while sealing off the ear and giving the sound an extra little bump. The only thing that would be nice is the ability to adjust the volume somehow without having to use the phone or Siri, but I suppose that's the tradeoff for having no cord at all. $160? Yep, and worth every penny, in my opinion. If you're on the fence, give it a go. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Wanted to get this because I hated wires dangling around while I ran and this is perfect! I use it for running, exercising and even while hitting golf balls. The sound is pretty good from such a small product and they fit well and battery life is good as well.

I had waited to purchase these and finally decided to try them. They fit great in the ear. They work with my IPhone, Ipad and Ipod seamlessly. The quality of sound is good. It's great to no longer have to worry about a cord. I am able to speak with them and be heard clearly.

Gifts for our girls, they enjoy the sound, instant connect, and not having cumbersome cords.

I was hesitant at first because of the price but I got tired of my regular headphone cord getting in the way of working out and this solved that problem. They don’t fall out of your ears easily. I would recommend them if you go to the gym regularly and listen to a lot of music.

They stay in your ear. They charge up really fast. You can hear really well. They are great.

If you have the right size ears they are a great fit, with a surprisingly long battery life.

Easy to use and great sound! Love how it comes in a small case. Connects easy once you flip open the case. I can leave the case in my gym locker and go workout without having to worry about distance or wires during my workout. I sweat and hey don’t slip off either.

These headphones are awesome. I love being able to just wear one at a time and not have the wires getting tangled up in everything. I wear them throughout the day and forget they're even in my ear. The charge lasts a long time and the little case recharges them super fast. The range on them is excellent too, so you can leave the phone in a charger and not have to carry it all the time. Overall it's a great product.

Very easy to use, great sound quality . Don’t come out of your ears while walking or moving.

AirPods seamlessly connect to my iPhone...it just works. Sound quality is surprisingly good.

I waited a good while, until my old (Bose) wireless hands-free was nearly non-functional before buying the Apple Air Pods; also wanted to wait until I purchased a new iPhone. Instead, had to upgrade before getting the new phone, and I am glad I did not wait. The sound is fantastic; excellent reproduction of music, and totally portable; outstanding voice quality as well. A very good range when away from the phone also. The charging case is wonderful, and charges the pods very quickly, and of course it is like having two wireless hands frees. A few negative comments: the insert does not explain how to gently remove them from the case - had to go to youTube to find out. There is no volume control on the units; a bit of a nuisance - first hands free ever without this feature. Also, the 'two- tap' method of access is imprecise and inconsistent. Nonetheless, I would purchase them over any other -extremely satisfied.

I bought these for 2 reasons- compact and seamless pairing with apple devices. I own a pair of Bose QC35's- I love their sound, comfort and over the ear design. I wanted something smaller for work and outdoor use. These air pods are perfect. They charge in the case and battery life is good. The sound quality is excellent and balanced. The strength of the wireless connection is excellent- I can leave my phone somewhere and walk around the yard or work and not loose the connection. Contrary to other reviews I have not had an issue keeping them in my ears. Sometimes the left one loosens the slightest bit, but it's not bothersome. Lastly, they have become my go to device for hands free calling while driving. The headphones are smart in the sense that if you just keep one in, the audio automatically gets channeled to that singular pod. So I leave one in while I'm driving and use it for phone calls. Overall, I'm very happy with this product and it's design

I love these. Best investment I made since cell phones were invented. I am a traveling salesperson and needed high quality sound for phone calls while I'm driving and nothing even comes close to these. Excellent. I only keep the right ear in while I'm driving. When the battery runs low I switch to the left ear only and can charge the right ear while I continue talking. Keeps me going for the full 9 hour day. I listen to music sometimes on them, but it only sounds good and full when both ears are in. And I might add that the sound is excellent when both are in, I do use them that way with music to block out distractions when I'm sitting at my computer working at home as well and one more benefit - it keeps annoying co-workers away from me because they know I can't hear them and leave me to my work when I'm in the office once or twice a month doing reports.

They are light weight and you can't even feel them in your ear. Sounds great, but sound cuts out and in every so often. The right one feels loose but has yet to fall out. They fit better then the regular Ear Pods.

Literally the best thing I’ve purchased in a long time. Syncs to all my Apple devices and plays music from my Apple Watch while I’m at the gym. So easy to use and never fall out of my ears even during sweaty cardio. Also easy to have a hands-free convo using them.

Really nice sound quality and the charging case is cool, can’t wait for wireless charging.

I'm going to go at my review for these a little differently. I'm going to take the 'comments' other people have towards these and give an answer for them. "They are expensive." When I bought mine, May 4th, 2017, the AirPods ($159) were one of the CHEAPEST fully wireless headphones on the market compared to the big names (Samsung $199, Sol Republic $179, Skybuds $219). "They don't have good battery life." 5 hours is what Apple claims, and I get pretty close to that. I got 5 1/2 hours when I was testing the battery life, but I did pause the music for a few minutes here and there to hear someone talk to me. Sol Republic claims and gets 3 hours (friend bought a pair and confirmed they get 3 hours), Samsung IconX don't even give you a battery life on their website anymore, but from other peoples reviews, you get about 1 1/2 hours of playback from your phone, and about 2 1/2 hours of playback from the built in 4GB of storage. The AirPods say "3 hours of playback from 15 minutes of charging in case" and they are right. It takes less than 30 minutes to charge the AirPods from 7% battery to 100%. If I hear the low battery noise, I take one out and put it in the case for about 15 minutes and put it back in my ear and then charge the other one for 15 minutes and put it back in my ear, and I'll have about 3 more hours of listening without having to pause to wait for them to charge. "You will lose them." 3 months, haven't lost them yet. Now, this will depend on the shape of your ear, but for me, the AirPods are EXTREMELY comfortable and STAY in my ear. I can even TRY to shake them out but they stay still. I have been sweaty after working out and they still stay in my ear with no problems. They are very light, so there isn't that much weight to throw around and have them fly out of your ear (like I said before, depending on your ear shape). When I am not using them they are in their charging case (literally the size of a floss case). "They don't sound good at all." My guess is people are saying this cause they are use to using a full headphone that costs hundreds of dollars, or you are coming from Bose/Beats with noise cancelling, and the AirPods do not sound near as good as high end headphones. They don't sound as good as my Bose SoundTrue Ultras either, but none of these are in the same category are the AirPods. The Samsung IconX, Sol Republic Amps Air, and Skybuds are in the same category. I've heard the Sol Republic Amps Air and the AirPods are about even with. I haven't heard the Skybuds or IconX, but I'm going to guess they will sound about as good as AirPods. Best way I can describe how they sound (for the iPhone users out there), they sound a little better than the EarPods that come with the iPhone, and I think the EarPods sound pretty good. I may sound like a fanboy (and I kind of am), but these are honest answers, and the AirPods are honestly an amazing pair of headphones.
