Best so far but not perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've tried 3 different fully wireless earbud pairs - Jaybird, Bose, & Sony. The sound, volume, and comfort of the Sony's was excellent but the connectivity was abysmal. Constant cut-outs and even worse after firmware update. They were a bit bulky too. The Jaybirds were VERY uncomfortable. The rubber ear pieces were hard and had edges that wouldn't last more than 10 minutes before needing to remove them and massage my ears. Sound was ok but not as good as Sony. Connectivity was also an issue. Bose were nice sounding but also had connectivity issues. They also didn't want to stay in the ear as well as the Sony's. I felt hard pressed to spend the money on those 3 and ended up returning them all. I finally got the Air Pods and am quite satisfied with them. Connectivity is perfect. Never had one or both ear pieces drop out yet. Battery life is about 4-5 hours at 1/3-1/2 volume. Recharge is awesome! Throw them in the case and within 5 minutes I had almost 75% charge back. The case can recharge them about 3-4 times before needing a recharge itself. Case is small and very portable in the pocket. Sound is good but still not as good as Sony. On par with Jaybird and Bose. Volume is a bit low, possibly because they do not insulate like the other 3 since they don't use any silicone ear canal seal. I actually prefer this so I can still hear surrounding noises or someone talking to me while wearing them. The Sony's had the active noise cancelling that was supposed to also amplify speech and lower the music volume but I couldn't get it to work well. I've seen silicone attachments that are supposed to help insulate the sound and volume on the AirPods but I prefer wearing them as-is. I don't mind the minor loss of bass. You can really tell that they could sound better if you lightly press them into your ear canals to create a seal. The volume and depth of the sound goes up quite a bit. Cons - no controls on the ear pieces except for a double tap to engage Siri. I have trouble finding the exact location to tap while wearing them and need repeated attempts to answer a call or give a voice command. Even though my apple watch makes controlling them a bit easier than unlocking the phone, it would be nice to see a button or two on each with a repeat algorithm programmed to mute, raise/lower volume, answer call, etc. like the 3 buttons on the wired earbuds. Put the center button on one bud, and the up/down buttons on the other. I don't always have my phone or apple watch out when I need to adjust something.

Great sound and connectivity, no strings attached
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love how easy to connect to my iPhone these Airpods are. The case is really handy as it charges the earphones once you put them in. The battery life is okay but they charge really fast. Sound is pretty decent as well. One of my favorite features is how light they are and how well they stay in your ears.

The hype is well worth it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been hearing how hyped up these AirPods were since release. I seen Bestbuy had them in stock and said, I might as well try them. The choice was between these or Powerbeats 3. I chose these because they are 100% wireless. I have some Jaybird X2's and they hurt my ears and I can't stand the wire behind my head. I took these to the gym and loved the sound quality in them. The gym is not a quiet environment at all and they held up very well. The fit for my ears was excellent and they didn't fall out of mine. Now that is an area where it may vary because of different ear shapes/sizes. I love the fact that once you connect them with your iPhone, they are automatically connected to all your Apple devices. If you take one out of your ear, the music pauses and if you only want to listen to one AirPod you can also. Apple did a excellent job with implementing this tech into their ecosystem. Now all I need is more commands brought to the AirPods like skipping the next track or going back and I'll be all set. Hopefully in iOS11 Apple gives us more options. I use the AirPods with my Apple Watch, so it works well with it also.

As Good As Advertised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love these! Setup with an iPhone was unbelievably easy. The traditional Apple EarPods have always fit well for me, and these are no different. I use them to exercise and run with them in and never have an issue with them falling out. Sound quality is great. Range seems to be strong. I have been over 20 feet from my phone with no interruption or loss of quality. Occasionally when I use them on phone, the other person will say that they have trouble hearing me -- have never tried to confirm that. Battery life is good -- I generally get 4-5 hours out of a single charge. The ease of having the case to charge them really puts them above any other wireless headphones I have used in the past! The only real complaint I have (and it's a small one) is the lack of controls (aside from using Siri). I do miss having volume and track controls at my fingertips without having to tap the headphones to activate Siri and say "Volume Up" or "Skip Track." All in all, these are great headphones! I would recommend them to anyone that is looking to go wireless, or looking to upgrade their current wireless headphones.

Game Changer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been very happy with this purchase, notwithstanding the fact that the little white stems peeking out from ones ears look a bit silly. The instant pairing feature is awesome, and the sound of these headphones is much better than the Beats wireless headphones I was using before. I am one of those folks for whom the EarPods fit great, so I have no problem with the fit of these headphones. Only complaint would be the price (And I got them at a decent discount...).

great wireless expeirence and audio quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The wireless experience is great. The sound quality is noticeably better than the default wired headphones (so you're not just getting wireless but the same headphones quality... it's better). The tap-to-do functions on it is nice and clever. I do sort of miss having a couple extra buttons so I don't have to rely on siti to skip tracks or whatever else I'd like it to do, but it've found it pretty rare to be in need of extra abilities. Apple struck a good sweet spot on these.

Best Ever!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very skeptical when I was looking to get these but after I read some reviews and finally decided to purchase them I am so happy I did!!!! These are the best headphones I have ever had. I use them on a daily basis for the office and even better when I wear them to the gym. They feel so amazing that there are no wires and they do not fall out. Also the battery last forever.

They stay in your ear!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay, so first off I wanted these since I first seen them release. After waiting for a few years, I’ve decided to pull the trigger and boy, did they not disappoint. They STAY in your ears while you’re getting active; (i.e. jump roping, running, parkour, etc) Sound quality is good and the charging case is a plus. 7 hours on a full charged pod and another 7 hours with the case. Case design is also a good portable size where it won’t leave a huge bulge in your pocket.

Awesome Accessory!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tried many earbuds and headphones for my cell phone over the years. These Airpods are the best yet. I love using them. I can make a phone call simply by tapping twice on one Airpod. The audio is great and the microphone works well. Because they are cordless they are truly 'hands free' and a joy to use. The battery life is excellent and the little charging case works well. . It is so small that its easy to misplace, but happily it fits in your pocket!

Love Them, But Afraid of Losing Them
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy using AirPods. They pair with my iPhone with no issues. They are very light, yet they stay in my ears fairly well. The charging case is easy to use. The biggest concern is losing or misplacing them. I’ve tried a couple of silicone bands to hold them around my neck should they fall. But the bands are heavy and actually pull the AirPods out. But, the ease of use more than makes up for the fear of losing them. They’re a great commuting companion.

Great set of wireless headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Truly wireless headphones that are a great replacement for the Apple EarPods. Doesn't block out outside noise, which is a good thing in public environments. Haven't used during a workout, but they stay in place through normal usage. Good pair of headphones for daily usage. Easy pairing with iPhone, and then automatically linked with iPad Pro and MacBook Pro. Very happy with the purchase and a definite upgrade from my other Bluetooth headphones.

Great set of truly wireless earphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are incredibly easy to set up, and sound much better than regular apple earpods that are packed with the iphone. I have not had a problem with them falling out of my ears even during workouts - the lack of any wires makes them more secure, if anything. The auto-pause is very convenient. Lack of volume controls is a minor annoyance, and Siri doesnt always pick up voice commands, but having to blindly thumb the volume buttons while the phone is in my pocket is a small price to pay for using these amazing earphones.

Airbuds are great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As others have already noted, Apple Airbuds connect to multiple devices easily, are very comfortable, don't fall out, and sound just a smidge better than Wired Earbuds. After iCloud knows about your new Airbuds, they simply show up as a choice on all your other devices. The Apple Watch sometimes needs to go into and out of Airplane mode to get reset, but after that connect easily. Other devices (iPhone, iPad, MacBook) connect without fuss. The Bluetooth connection is solid...I've walked all around my house without disruption. The Airbuds do not block outside noise and also let sound leak out to others nearby. The sound pretty good...nice deep bass, clean trebles and clear mids...they only sounded harsh on live applause. Mind you they don't compete with Bose around the ear phones. Battery life is great and charge time is very fast. Microphone sounds great on phone calls too. Tap t summon Siri works and quiet instructions like NEXT or LOUDER work fine. Most of all I do not miss un.winding or untangling the earbud wires. Worth it!

Small headphones with a HUGE impact
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously owned the Bose SoundSport "wireless" headphones. I go to the gym about 5 times a week and having music while I workout is essential for me to get the most out of my workout (exercise and enjoyment wise). The Bose headphones worked pretty well. They were comfortable and the sound was good. However, I began running into a few issues with them. I would be running on the treadmill and they would randomly disconnect from my iPhone 8 Plus (talk about mood weakening). They also began to lose their battery life pretty rapidly. I also found it annoying to charge them (having to connect them to the USB port of my Mac). Finally, the little plastic hook piece that allows you to clip the headphone wire to the back collar of your shirt fell off and disappeared. Since losing the piece, every time I would run on the treadmill the wire would wrap around my ear and I had to constantly turn my attention away from my workout to take the wire off my ear, super annoying. I finally decided enough was enough. I decided to do some research for replacement headphones. After reading positive reviews, watching encouraging testimonial videos online, and skimming through a few online tech periodicals; I decided on the Apple AirPods. WOW... I am so glad I chose these headphones. The first thing I noticed after receiving them is how small and tiny they are in the little carrying case. I take extreme care of my possessions and rarely lose things so i'm not worried about misplacing them. Their small size makes them super easy to travel with. Charging them could not be any easier, just place the headphones in the case and plug it into a lightning cable. Connecting them via bluetooth is about the easiest process you can imagine, just open the lid to the case and voila, you're connected. Right away I was super impressed with the sound quality. For being 100% wireless, the sound is superb. They are also a great deal louder than the Bose headphones I owned before. Which is of course a very welcomed feature when running on a noisy treadmill. I sweat a great deal and I have not once had an AirPod fall out of my ear. They are also so light and comfortable, I honestly forget I'm wearing them and it's almost like having a permanent "voice in your head" playing your favorite playlist, It's quite fantastic. The tapping function that the headphones feature are incredible in the gym. No longer do you have to turn you attention to your iPhone to skip an unwanted track, you can select the option to just double tap one of the headphones to skip the song. While $160 for such small headphones seemed a but steep, I can honestly say I would be willing to pay up to $200 for them. The huge improvement to my workout and every day music listening activities have been increased tenfold thanks to these awesome little headphones. 10/10 highly recommend.

Very easy to use!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very impressed by these headphones. The most impressive aspect is the easy of use. 1. The case the headphones are stored in acts as a charger for the headphones, almost like a portable charger. When the headphones are inside of the case, they charge quickly. I only have to plug the case in 1-2 times per week, at the most (depends on how much the headphones are used). 2. When opening the headphones, they immediately paired with my iPhone. I did not have to go into the Bluetooth center to try and connect It was almost immediate. It is worth emphasizing how easily these paired. 3. In order to make sure that you know the headphones are paired, you hear a sound when the headphones are placed in your ear, letting you know that your iPhone recognizes the headphones are ready for play. 4. If you are playing music, for example, and remove one of the headphones, the music pauses itself until you replace the removed headphone. You can manually play from the phone with one bud out. 5. The functionality outside of the simple listening use is impressive. Answering calls, using Siri, etc. I was impressed how well Siri and the individual(s) on the other end of the phone could hear me. I have yet to put the headphones through a workout, as I have specific headphones for that purpose. But simply walking around, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the headphones stayed firmly inside of my ear. If you are expecting extremely high quality sound, these may not be the headphones for you. However, from a functionality standpoint, and with the very decent sound the headphones deliver, these are worth of a 5 star review. Enjoy!

Use them every day
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my AirPods. They are so easy to use, last a long time, and sound good. I use them at work, at the gym, for calls. Being totally wire free is amazing and the fact that the case can constantly recharge them is great. I charge the case maybe once every 10 days.

Sleek and adaptable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this item to use with iPhone, Mac and apple watch. Previously when I was using Bose or sony headphones, their connection with apple watch had issues if I had to connect them to iphone as well. Changing the connection with iPhone and apple watch was a trouble with other products, but aipdos had a good connection with all apple devices (of course because it is an apple product designed to suit the apple devices). Now, coming to quality, of course Bose is the best. But for sleek design AirPods should be given an edge. Charging lasts 4 hours as promised and are amazing in ears. I used them during workout but they fall off sometimes (running is absolutely fine), not like gym and heavy workouts where you have to bend and rise constantly. So overall, I have 4/5.

Best head phones yet!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got these as an anniversary present from my wife. They work great! The most comfortable pair of Apple head phones I have ever owned. Usually the hurt my ears but have not had any issues. The sound quality is great and they are easy to setup. I like that they stop working if they are both not in your ears. Easy way to know if you dropped one. I’ve run and been on long arduous hikes with them and had no issues for losing them.

Favorite headphones I’ve ever owned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical at first, but these are the best headphones I have ever owned. I own a pair of over ear Beats and the sound is comparable. I prefer the light weight of the air pods. I have used them to talk on the phone and everyone on the other end told me they didnt realize I was using a Bluetooth device. Most importantly for me - they do not move in my ears whatsoever, so they are perfect for the gym. Great purchase!

Well made and sounds good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received a pair of the AirPods for my birthday this year. I was hesitant to like these at first but after using them for a month, I am thoroughly pleased. I workout with them doing many different plyo movements and jump rope and they don’t budge. Even while sweating! They are simple to pair with your phone and they sound great for phone calls. They are well thought out and just work. I highly recommend these earphones.
