I’ve bought the JBL free headphone and they kept going out of sync got the AirPods and they sound clear they sync pretty well. The tap function is awesome. I recommended it for Apple users!!

What can I say? Up front, I am an Apple person but when these first came out I was skeptical mainly due to the lack of a teather and no apparent way of keeping them secure. As well I am typically an early technology adopter but I had been very happy with a pair of wireless blue tooth in-ear buds promoted by a certain Doctor. Well, God love my wife as I certainly do as she saw fit to give me a pair for Christmas and my response and conversion was immediate! Sound quality, convenience, etc. taking/making phone calls is seamless. The other party cannot tell that you are not holding the phone up to your ear. At the gym I originally used these with an aftermarket leash but really soon realized that there was no need so I no longer do. If you sweat a lot like when you are running I recommend some silicone slip overs and possibly a leash to be safe but other than that, nothing really. If you have two in and you take one out, it will pause the music until you put the other back in. I have since bought a pair for my wife and this review is for a pair that we bought for her parents as a gift. My wife’s response as well as mine as has been just like mine with regards to the WOW Factor. I can not recommend these enough! One thing is if you expect these to plug outside noise like while you are mowing the lawn, they don’t do that. They will provide high quality sound without blowing out your ears. The charging case works great and i do recommend purchasing an aftermarket cover for some protection and personalization. Mine typically live in a gym bag when i am not wearing them or traveling with them. I love them! Worth every penny!

...I wish the sound quality was better. I bought these simply so I could say "I bought these." I am going to keep them but that is only because I have other bluetooth headphones for flights (which I take weekly for work) and for running/working out. I use these AirPods for taking phone calls, listening to music (while not on a plane) like walking through the city or when I do not want to deal with my other bulky, bluetooth/noise cancelling pair of headphones. As other reviewers have mentioned the sound quality for listing to music could be much better. I find the loudest volume on these are still not enough for me. I like a fuller, richer sound with bass and mid-levels. With these though, you cannot beat the ease of connectivity and the built in controls with other Apple products.

Love these ear phones as there are no wires or headsets. I enjoy the freedom of use I can turn on music, pop the ear phones in and go about cleaning my house without taking my phone with me

I was very skeptical about spending this amount of money on a pair of wireless headphones. It took me several months before I could bring myself to buy these because I was nervous about several issues that could arise one I bought them. For example: loosing one or both and being afraid they wouldn’t fit in my ears or even be comfortable. These were just a couple of reasons for my hesitation. I finally broke down and bought them and I must say that I love them and do not regret my decision. They had a lot more features than I was aware of and trust me I did my research. We now own three sets in our family and all of us are happy with our decision. Apple never disappoints us!

These are better than I expected. They have a great sound, easy to use and hold a charge for a long time.

I love my AirPods!! They sync instantly with my iPhone, once they are properly in my ear. The sound quality is wonderful!! I would suggest buying ear holders if you are doing a lot of moving.

These Apple AirPods are amazing! Sound quality is great! I decided to get these since i go to a gym and it is convenient for them to be wireless. After an hour in the gym the AirPods have about 85% remaining. The case charges very fast (i've never drained them below 60%). The case does scratch easily and will need a silicone cover/case of some kind. Size will very from person to person (if the wired version fit then these should fit the same).

FINALLY I have found an earphone that works as a hands free device in the truck I drive. That is what I mostly use them for, but they also happen to be a great sounding set of buds! Love em.

I had the beats x bluetooth headphones for less than a year and they died twice. To my surprise, the AirPods offer a much richer sound than the beats x which, by comparison, are a little muffled and flat. The additional convenience of the AirPod charging case and the gesture/movement features is worth the price. Bonus: They work with AppleTV so you can enjoy loud, late night movies without disturbing the rest of the family.

Bought the headphones after trying them at the Apple Store. They have a better sound quality than the ones that have normally been packaged with the purchase of an iPhone. The battery may last at least 3-4hrs on a single charge, but either way you just put them back in the case and they charge very quick back to 100%. Siri doesn't understand you 100% or cuts you off in the middle of a command that you are going to give, but that isn't that big of a deal.

Great apple design, easy to use, good but not fantastic sound quality

Many ppl have questions that “are they really gonna stay in eat” answer is they definitely will( in most cases ) even though you go for a run they will stay firm. The most amazing thing is connectivity, awesome connection . As well as the battery life is really great ...if both earpods are low on charge, u can use one and just put the other one in case , by the time the one you are using is dead, the other one is fully charged , so u never lose charge .

The first time I put them on, I got static, but since then they are crystal clear. They fit well in the ears although if I were to move like running, I feel they might fall out. My one complaint is the 'Tap to pause/play' or to engage Siri, is not consistently activated upon tapping above the stem. I usually have to double tab multiple times to get the expected action.

The AirPods are everything I hoped they'd be! If you like the fit of Apple's earbuds in your ears, then you won't be disappointed with these. I'm able to use them while stationary, and also while doing vigorous workouts/running/weight lifting. They don't fall out, and I like that they pause when you remove one of them. Setting them up to your Bluetooth settings was incredibly easy. Just remember to charge the pack so that you can keep using them!

i know there are other wireless headsets on the markets, however, these are (in my opinion) the best. Not only are they easy to use, but also very attractive. A MUST have. Worth the money!
