Very hesitant on purchasing this. For $160, you don’t get an upgrade in the acoustic department. But the pairing convenience and the chip equipped in the AirPods are impressive. First, as soon as you put the AirPods to your ears, music starts playing. Then the accelerometers detect when you take the AirPods out and automatically pauses the song. You don’t have to turn it on and off, just take them out of the case to turn it on, and put them back to turn it off. Definitely worth it.

I love these. They’re great and small. Not a bad sound at all. I would like better noise cancellation in future models.

I've tried quite a few different wireless earbuds from cheap around the neck soundpeats, to FireFlies, to Samsung Icon X, to Air by CrazyBaby. The Apple AirPods are by far the best, however, the most expensive. The AirPods work well with both IOS and Android, and anything else that supports bluetooth. You just get seamless pairing, battery life visuals, and controls with iOS. They are the only pure wireless buds I feel that don't lose connection with each of the earbuds. All the others, I've had issues just hearing mono. The case is what sets it apart from all the others. The form factor is so small, yet still able to charge the earbuds. All other wireless earbud cases are just too big to fit in your pocket. They aren't the best sounding (the CrazyBaby's are out of the ones I've had), but not bad at all. They look kind of weird with white sticks hanging down your ear. They also turn on when you put them in your ear, which is convenient. If I were to do it over again, I would've just gone straight for the AirPods instead of trying to find cheaper earbuds that just don't meet up to them.

I was skeptical when these were released in late 2016. I thought they were overpriced for what they were, but as time went on, my interest in them heightened. I finally bit the bullet and ordered some this week (February 2019) and man. I'm glad I did. They sound great - just as good if not better than my Beats and Skullcandy units I've had in the past. Setup was a breeze. I opened the charging case and held it next to my iPhone XS and the phone prompted me to connect them. Once I did, things were good to go. They pause music when I take one out of my ear, perfect for when I'm at work and my manager needs to speak to me. Battery life, especially with the charging case, blows my old Skullcandy headphones out of the water! I can't believe these have been around as long as they have because the technology still seems cutting edge to me. I love my iPhone and my iPad but I am by no means an Apple worshiper. I see them as a good company but not without their faults. These AirPods, however, are just plain great. Get them.

Great Quality of sound, easy to use and extremely convenient that you won’t even feel like you are wearing an ear piece.

I have to say, I absolutely love having these. Now they are not going change the world or revolutionize your music experience but they make listening to music so convenient (wire/cable FREE). I personally like the fit and feel of the original ear buds that come with the iPhone but this takes it to the next level for me. So tired of the cable always getting in the way. Battery life is great, if you are done listening to music or done being on the phone then simply return to the case and they begin to charge. When you pop open the top, the battery life on both the air pods and case will display on your iPhone. If the battery case is low and needs a charge, charge time is pretty quick. Pairing the devices is super easy, no Bluetooth codes to enter or buttons to push, just open and watch what happens. Very happy with my air pods, even purchased some for my wife and she loves them. Are there less expensive alternatives, yes. But for me, the comfort, sound and value of the air pods are worth it.

No wires, long battery life. Stores in recharging pod; easy to use. Worth the high price. I love them, plain and simple.

These far exceeded my expectations. They sound good, stay in my ears while running and appear to be pretty sweat proof.

I didn’t want to like these (They look ridiculous) so I tried the rest in search of alrernatives to no avail. Pros: They pair easily, sound good even while running with no loss of connectivity, are surprisingly comfortable, and stay put at all times. Neutral: Battery life is adequate at best but to be expected. Cons: Major gripe is lack of any volume adjustment which is a HUGE oversight and can be quite annoying. Verdict: Overall they’re still the best option out there. Here’s to hoping that Apple includes volume adjustment in a future update.

I have always had "fitting" problems, must be my ears, but these fit well, stay in place, have good sound and NO WIRES!

Just like I expected.. very nice sound and easy to connect.. it’s a little slippery for my ears but that could be my anatomy only. Just one issue- when my phone is connected to my car, it doesn’t automatically connect to my AirPods when I take them out.

No wires needed.. Great sound quality. Can set down phone and walk 60 feet away and iPods still work. Don’t fall out.

I was so afraid of paying so much for headphones especially because I lose them all of the time. These have been so easy to keep up with and they’re so easy to use! They stay in perfectly even when I’m running and working out and the sound is amazing. They exceeded my expectations! Way to go apple

I've used 3 different wireless earphones over the past couple of years, including Bose, Apple Airpods, and an award-winning audio startup's earphones. The apple airpods are not going to sound better than other companies dedicated around audio, but the airpods are far superior and convenient for those in the apple ecosystem. Switching between devices is a breeze from your settings (no need to disconnect and reconnect from devices). While the earphones are a bit slippery pulling them out of the case, they fit settled and comfortable in the ears. I don't take phone calls without these in the office, at home, or on the go - the case is so small and fits perfectly in my pocket or in a case I have with a carabiner on my keys. In the office, I connect them to my macbook and use them when making slack/skype/google calls from my computer, listen to spotify, and when I run out for lunch, just connect on my iPhone as I'm leaving the office. I'd recommend these earphones to anyone who uses an apple device that makes calls or listens to audio.

AirPods work seemlessly with all of you apple products. Just pop the top open on the case and they pair with tour phone, iPad, MacBook. They also automatically pair with all of the products your signed into with your iCloud account just by pairing with one of them. They do work with non apple devces too. However, the ease of use with apple products is what makes them so great. The sound quality is good but you will hear noise from outside of the AirPods. I wear mine with the “stick” portion pointed slightly forward towards my cheek and it seems to sound better that way. Look at apple advertising photos to see what I mean. Even with the price of these I think they are worth it. The charging case is tiny which is super nice to always have with you too. It’s the size of a small dental floss container. Your AirPods will always be charged too. I use these all the time and have gotten them quite wet when sweating outside or when working out. They have never fallen out or even loosened and the moisture hasn’t effected them at all.

These ear pieces are clearly good communication devices. They are lightweight, durable, and have good sound qualities.
