Just buy the original HomePods…

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had my stereo pair of HomePods for nearly 5 years now and they sound nearly identical to the 2nd Gen HomePods. Siri responsiveness is nearly identical as well. I would only recommend grabbing these new ones if you absolutely *need* the warranty, and want Matter support with HomeKit in the future. If you only plan on using them as apart of your surround sound setup, save yourself $150 and get the original HomePods.

When it works the sound is good

Note i own two homepod mini and an apple tv plus varius other homekit accessories. None suffer the same connection issues. Perhaps this has or will be fixed in the latest patch but this is a promise that has taken months to long should it ever be delivered on. It does soubd good but not as good as the eboriginal imo.
