Wish it had more features...like text & voice. Speech to text/write does not take great dictation at all...highly lacking In this area. Would like more if pages application had more options available for use too.

Everything is as good as the previous iPads. Except when the speaker speaks, the whole body vibrates! A lot! This is very annoying me when I hold it in hand....

I didn't do my research ahead of time. I wanted a tablet with a larger screen and more function similar to a Mac to use a couple programs on. My husband reaped the benefits and is using it now. I purchased something different for my needs.

    Great Improvement over prior models

I have a couple of prior iPads and this one is by far the best. I am surprised at the increased speed and lightness of the device. I was most surprised with the increased memory available with the redesigned OS. I didn't think Apple redesigning the OS would free up that much memory but it did. If I would have know this, I would have opted for the model with less memory and a little cheaper. Same items on this iPad as proportion and it only takes about half the memory! Greta product

Works great, only downside is caused by apple paranoia. Unable to easily load and unload books. Unable to share books that are purchased from the apple store, but then I knew that when purchased the ipad.

    Lots of bloat-wares...

I bought this to replace my old 2010 iPad 2 with iOS 5.1. I just noticed that there's a lot of bloat-wares: 1) The 'Siri' is very annoying whenever I unlocked the iPad, it keeps popping up without being asked for. I had a Windows phone before (Nokia Lumia 635) with 'Cortana' on it and 'Cortana' is a lot better than 'Siri'. 'Siri' always missed 90% of the time while 'Cortana' did not miss anything at all. 'Siri' is useless and considered as bloat-ware. 2) The built-in music player app is confusing and I got lost when I tried to start playing music. Luckily there's a third party music player with equalizer in the app store. 3) GarageBand app is not for those who played real piano and real guitar. This app does not improve your piano playing or guitar playing skills. 4) Productivity apps (Numbers,Pages,Keynotes) are useless apps if you don't have a real keyboard. It won't make you highly efficient, effective, and productive. The bottleneck is the virtual keyboard that's built-in and since 2010 iOS the virtual keyboard did not have a 'simultaneous' numeric and alphabets unlike the Android counterpart. 5) The Apple map is not as good as the Google map. It has 3D look and feel map but when you zoom-in it does not look good. Speaking of 3D, the iOS v5.1 has a better 3D look user interface compared to iOS 10. The iOS 10 looks flat which is like copying the looks of an Android user interface. I don't have to go through all the bloat-wares. The only thing I like is the multitasking feature (example, split screen). Even though it has bloat-wares, I will still recommend it for those who can withstand them.

Just got 128 GB iPad Air 2 on Black Friday at Best Buy. Like the devise, but quite often, although the orientation lock is off, the screen is not adjusting upright when I rotate the devise. It is irritating because I need to close whatever app I'm using, hit the on/off button, and then open it again. I don't have time for this. It also freezes up and slows down for whatever reason. I feel like taking a hammer and taking a few swings at it. Irritating...never expected this from an iPad...disappointing. Apple needs to fix this...

The iPad Air is a poorly constructed, flimsy tablet. In less than one month the screen cracked. It had not been dropped or abused, simply picked up by it's corner. A waste of money.

    Best iPad Yet

It's really amazing just how much tech can be packed into something so thin and lightweight. The iPad Air 2 is definitely one of the best tablets on the market right now, and I'm extremely happy with my purchase. The battery life is excellent, speed and performance are also great, and it's very easy to use and hold for extended periods of time due to the size and weight.

My child likes to listen to music and watch movies on her iPad. The new over the ears headphones fit well and we are happy to watch different movies without any interference.

Old iPad held a charge all day. New iPad charge only lasts about five hours. Am wondering if perhaps it is defective. Not really thrilled with this product.

I have had an iPad 2 for years and although the screen is cracked it still works great. Decided that I wanted a new iPad because I now have two daughters. My husband bought me the iPad Air 2 with 128GB and I am in love. So much lighter than my old iPad. Lightening fast and the camera on this iPad is great. Highly recommend it.

I am on my third new IPAD Air 2. It goes into "Connect to ITunes" mode and the only way to fix it, is for Apple to give me a new one. This happens when you try to do a factory restore, when the sync/update (while connected to ITunes) does not work. I am still troubleshooting it and will be heading back to Apple for my 4th IPAD. None of the folks at Apple, can tell me why the problem occurs. Besides that, the IPAD once turned on looks good!!

Not for those who aren't VERY tech-Oriented. You definitely should do more investigating than I did prior to spending this kind of money.
