The iPhone 4s does everything I want without spending the extra money for the iPhone 5s. What's so great about the 5s anyway? The thumb print reader? I've heard it doesn't always work. Faster processor? Most speed problems are related to wifi connection anyway. I'd rather save the money and have the 4s which runs on the same OS and has 95% of the same features. Plus I can keep using all the same connectors that are standard for most docking stations.

I'm fairly easy to please when it comes to phones and I'm a cheapskate so upgrading from a 4 to a 4s for free was a good option for me. At the time I upgraded the iPhone 5 was $99 and I didn't want to spring for it. The are many other brands of phones out there that are probably superior in many ways but I'm not willing to get away from Apple just yet. The 4s is doing a good job for me so far. The processor is faster and the io7 upgrade is good once you get used to it. I'm still getting to know Siri but I've found her to be quite useful when dialing numbers or sending quick texts or looking up mundane or even ridiculous questions. The camera is improved and does a fine job for quick pics. The negatives for me are the shorter battery life, not so great phone sound volume/quality, and the screen size. If you're on a budget this is a good value buy but if you need the latest and greatest and can spend the $$ then get something else.

We have several iPhones that we love. We bought this one not because we needed another, but because one of our other ones was intentionally stolen (we have a family plan which is why we have a number of them). We were disappointed that we could not get another 4S with 16GB, but we understand that is because Apple has moved to the 5 series now, and we were grateful that we were able to replace the 4S for relatively minimal cost due to our AT&T plan. (We are not quite ready to move to the 5 series, but will do so next time we make a new purchase.) Overall, of course, we love the product, and the problem of less memory is not Apple's fault but ours. So Apple has done it right again.

I definitely recommend this phone ! it was an upgrade for me from an iphone 3s. I love the camera and I love having voice text and siri.

This is purchased as a first smart phone for my father who has a minimal understanding of technology. It is easy to use in all aspects and is a good phone at a cheap price. However, had to buy protection since the phone is known to damage easily which increased the monthly cost.

This is a great phone for a new smartphone user. The price was great just wish battery life was better on them.overall very happy with the new purchase

I bought this phone, because I thought it was time to own a smart phone. I did not realize what I have been missing. Just the weather and news alerts are a great addition. I don't play games, other then solitare and freecell, or download music, so this phone works out great for me.

I upgraded my mom from my old iPhone 3GS to this iPhone 4S. The old 3GS was getting hard for her to read as the background lighting was not very good even at the highest setting, plus her battery was not lasting as long anymore and the phone was a little sluggish. With the new 4S, she loves the bright screen, the easier to read retina display and the fast performance.

This is my husband's first smart phone and he is able to take pictures with it. He is now texting and loves the compass on the phone. Of course, he can make phone calls too! With the Otterbox case it is a tough and durable phone.

My husband and I bought this phone for my daughter's 14th birthday and she loves it. It's easy to use and navigate; however, she likes to run multiple apps at the same time so the battery life is very short.

IPhones are easy to use, the calendar and alarm functions are great, and the apps are great. The one thing that really needs improvement is the battery life. I changed all the settings to get the most use out of it and it is still pretty bad compared to other phones.

The IPhones 4S is still one of the better phones out there. The price that Best Buy offers is unbeatable. The most recent IOS version makes the older model is comparable to the newer iPhones. Love this product. I love the price even more.

Had to replace my other phone. Wasn't sure I was ready for this upgrade, but I love it. It was very easy to figure out all the functions. Like the improvements & shortcuts.

Got this phone for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas and she loved loved it! It's a great starter iPhone and don't have to pay an arm and a leg for it. Best Buy had the best deal online for the 4S.

Purchased the 8gb iPhone 4s for my mother in law. It was a great price and meets her needs as an entry level iPhone.

My husband was still using a flip phone from 5 years ago and is not open to trying "new" technology! He was resistant at first, but enjoys the ease of using the iPhone.

Overall I like the phone. The camera is crisp. However, the battery life isn't as strong as they used to be for iPhones. I'm disappointed how frequently I need to charge it.

The phone is great but the battery life is not long like they say it is supposed to be!! It is supposed to be longer but not! The camera is great on the phone an most everything else is great too!!
