My dad bought me this phone for my birthday, after he loved his so much. Really like all the apps and games.

this is a great phone for someone who has never used a smart phone. It is very easy to use and set up.

Ok phone, coverage area isn't as advertised in Rhode Island

Many of my friends ordered this phone and couldn't use this apart from sprint network. Can we unlock this phone to use it anywhere?

I love Apple, and this phone does not disappoint. I use it to do my banking, listen to music, text/call, browse the web, track my runs, GPS, and some games. I have about 640 songs, and 11 downloaded apps. My only complaint is that I constantly need to delete things to make space for other things. I recommend buying the 16gb or higher. It'll make things easier in the long run.

It has been a good phone, but I dont think it should be purchased anymore. At least not at 8gb. The updates are too big. I cannot update the phone and apps will not work for it now.

Red about this deal in the NYT, bought one, might have moved my whole family over. But SPRINT will not activate this phone, says it is not a Prepaid phone, BestBuy says its is not a Contract phone - it sure looks like a phone - what did I do wrong? I could accept that it would be locked to SPRINT for a year. but SPRINT has decided that it should not work at all. I wonder why SPRINT do not want my business. Now the phone will just be another gadget lying on the shelf. I did call SPRINT twice - they say it is my / BestBuys problem BestBuys says there is nowhere that says this is a contract phone. So between us we all loose

When I bought this product it was not mentioned that this is carrier locked (more specifically sprint locked). The price was so enticing that I called bestbuy to ensure that it is not locked and the representative confirmed that it is not carrier locked. The fact is it is locked and sprint will not unlock it unless you are their customer. I am glad that they have cared to change the product information now.

They told me that it is unlocked and i use t mobile sim and it doesnt work.Pure waste of time.It is only for sprint.
