I'm fairly easy to please when it comes to phones and I'm a cheapskate so upgrading from a 4 to a 4s for free was a good option for me. At the time I upgraded the iPhone 5 was $99 and I didn't want to spring for it. The are many other brands of phones out there that are probably superior in many ways but I'm not willing to get away from Apple just yet. The 4s is doing a good job for me so far. The processor is faster and the io7 upgrade is good once you get used to it. I'm still getting to know Siri but I've found her to be quite useful when dialing numbers or sending quick texts or looking up mundane or even ridiculous questions. The camera is improved and does a fine job for quick pics. The negatives for me are the shorter battery life, not so great phone sound volume/quality, and the screen size. If you're on a budget this is a good value buy but if you need the latest and greatest and can spend the $$ then get something else.

I upgraded my mom from my old iPhone 3GS to this iPhone 4S. The old 3GS was getting hard for her to read as the background lighting was not very good even at the highest setting, plus her battery was not lasting as long anymore and the phone was a little sluggish. With the new 4S, she loves the bright screen, the easier to read retina display and the fast performance.

I have used this now for a few months. My old phone (non-IPhone) kept dying on me (short battery life) and was always resetting itself or having to be reset. The IPhone 4S has met and exceeded my expectations. This is the first Apple product I have owned, but i don't see myself going back to a different phone ever. It is very reliable and easy to use.

The iPhone 4s does everything I want without spending the extra money for the iPhone 5s. What's so great about the 5s anyway? The thumb print reader? I've heard it doesn't always work. Faster processor? Most speed problems are related to wifi connection anyway. I'd rather save the money and have the 4s which runs on the same OS and has 95% of the same features. Plus I can keep using all the same connectors that are standard for most docking stations.

My husband and I bought this phone for my daughter's 14th birthday and she loves it. It's easy to use and navigate; however, she likes to run multiple apps at the same time so the battery life is very short.

We have several iPhones that we love. We bought this one not because we needed another, but because one of our other ones was intentionally stolen (we have a family plan which is why we have a number of them). We were disappointed that we could not get another 4S with 16GB, but we understand that is because Apple has moved to the 5 series now, and we were grateful that we were able to replace the 4S for relatively minimal cost due to our AT&T plan. (We are not quite ready to move to the 5 series, but will do so next time we make a new purchase.) Overall, of course, we love the product, and the problem of less memory is not Apple's fault but ours. So Apple has done it right again.

This is purchased as a first smart phone for my father who has a minimal understanding of technology. It is easy to use in all aspects and is a good phone at a cheap price. However, had to buy protection since the phone is known to damage easily which increased the monthly cost.

The phone is great but the battery life is not long like they say it is supposed to be!! It is supposed to be longer but not! The camera is great on the phone an most everything else is great too!!

This phone has a lot more features than the phone I had before this one. The features are so user friendly I have been able to learn it easily. Crystal made my purchase easy and simple. Helped in great detail with the plan that was right for me. She was so sweet and patient with me as I am older and was concerned the plan I might choose would not be right for me. She asked me some questions and she directed me towards a great plan that has turned out to be just what I needed. She turned a dreaded ordeal into a fun experience. As for the phone, the battery life, the pictures, the voice, and sound are all very good. I am a happy camper.

Got this phone for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas and she loved loved it! It's a great starter iPhone and don't have to pay an arm and a leg for it. Best Buy had the best deal online for the 4S.

this was my first time trading in a phone and I was happy with the amount. This was an old phone, in great shape but old and out of date...$35. was much better than just handing it down to a child to play with.

The phone still has the same potential and functionality of modern days smart phone. In noway it can be called absolute. An cheap smart solution of smart phone choice.

I bought this phone, because I thought it was time to own a smart phone. I did not realize what I have been missing. Just the weather and news alerts are a great addition. I don't play games, other then solitare and freecell, or download music, so this phone works out great for me.

I love apple products and I continue to use iPhone. For my dad the 5s was overkill. He just wanted what he already had so that's what we got him. He loves it!

Got this phone on open box pricing around the holiday's and it was well worth it. I use it as an iPod and App device and it works great.

I went in the store looking for another brand of phone. Was convinced by the sales person that as a first smart phone, I should go with the iphone 4s. A good choice, as it is very user friendly. Have had the phone about a month and very satisfied with it in all regards.

I ordered this for my boyfriend who previously had an Atrix2. The sound quality was pretty bad - he could never hear me. He decided to switch to a 4S and he loves it! The interface is more intuitive, sound and picture quality on the phone is 10x better than the previous phone. He's very happy with this phone!
