This phone replaces an iphone 5 and it was a very smooth transition for such a jump. A few new things to learn but not overwhelming.

The phone was very responsive. There were a few issues with it taking screen captures when typing. That issue has since been fixed.

I got this on sale after I washed my IPhone 6s in the washer. It’s a nice upgrade and the wireless charging has been nice. Overall no complaints. I think I’ll keep it out of the wash for a while...

Needed a new iPhone to replace 4 year old technology. But which one to buy? After evaluating what I felt was the most important technology - and what level of the new technology I could handle, I chose the iPhone 8. Went on a vacation - took all the pictures and videos I wanted and still have space.

Sound is way better than any flip phone I ever had. The camera for pictures and video is super. Connects with my other Apple phone and IPad which is nice. Very pleased with Apple and Best Buy.

I've had an iPhone for many many years now. I highly suggest this phone for anyone whom doesn't want the newest iPhone. I had and iPhone 7 but did not want a gigantic new iPhone nor did I want to lose my home button. This phone should last new a few years until I'm forced to upgrade. The 256GB should last me a long long time. I still have over 200GB free even after pulling down my apps, pics and music. The red glass back is amazing, I love it. You cannot get that color from Apple anymore in the iPhone 8, buy this while you can. I will say the camera is better than the 7 but I have not really noticed a speed improvement but I was not purchasing this for that reason.

but I do not see any clear difference between the iPhone8 or its predecessors. Save your money and get the iPhone 6 or 7 instead.

This phone is the reason I haven’t upgraded in two years. As long as it works this great, I don’t see myself needing an X or whatnot. It does everything I need and more. Great product.

I traded in a 6s plus. I loved th bigger screen on the 6s plus, but it becam too much of a hassle carrying it in my front pocket, especially while driving. This smaller size fits much better. Apple makes their phone upgrades in small increments, so it’s hard to see any real difference between this and the 6s. My only complaint is that I had service issues after switching phones. After the first day, I could not call or receive calls for almost a week (only text worked). Eventually things cleared up and now seems to work fine. I was an Altell customer and service has never been as good since bought out by AT&T. I’ve stayed with them only because they are cheaper than Verizon. I only recommend if you have an iPhone older than the 6s.

This is a replacement of an iPhone which was several years old. It was easy to setup and begin using. The only downfall is AT&T does not apply full purchase up front. I really don't like that.

i think this is a decent phone but i'm not super impressed -- rather have kept my old 5s but that stopped performing adequately; main issue with new phone is that several times it could not hold its network connection (whereas my other devices, iPad, Macbook, etc. had no problem); I had to ignore connection and reenter password; it's probably too soon into my ownership to make an overall assessment of the phone

I purchased this for my son as an upgrade from his IPhone 6. He wanted the Product Red version & it was available at my local Best Buy. It is a lovely rich color & has a few nice new features from the old 6. The camera is a BIG improvement & 'live photo' is a nice feature that's included, but can be switched off if not required. I also like the fact that this new phone can be charged using the charging pad, which makes for easier charging & is very convenient for the whole family! Even my daughter fancies the new color & we might look to upgrade hers too nearer to Christmas time. Best Buy has great customer service & often has EXCELLENT deals! HIGHLY recommend :)

It's a challenge to learn and get used to new features. Disappointed with the 90+ minutes it took to transfer from old phone.

This phone works. I don't know what else to say. I wish it was cheaper but if I manage not to break it it should last a couple of years like the last iphone I had did.
