The transfer from my 5 was excruciating - and device won't authenticate - tired of apples high prices and less than high quality - it will be my last apple phone.

Activated new line and the deal was $10 a month. Well that didn’t happen and now I’m paying the full monthly payment for the phone

phone could not be activated said it was part of a defective shipment and ws forced to spend more for another model

Your better off with an android phone, apple has too many hoops to jump thru

I took a break from iphone for a while and moved to Android, Samsung Galaxy S7. I liked the Galaxy. The main disappointment with the S7 was batter life. It does a have a bigger battery than the iphone 8 but you would never know it. I missed the iphone and decided to come back. No regrets at all! In fact I believe this is the best phone I've ever owned. Battery life, ease of use, quality hardware and software --- all of it is just exceptional. Apple knew what they were doing on this one. I am happy to be back with iphone and don't intend to leave again. I do like many things about Android but I found myself customizing android to be like Apple. To anyone thinking about upgrading from another iphone or changing from android -- this is the phone to do it with!

So it's an iPhone, what more needs to be said? I've used iPhones for many years. In the middle or last year I made the swithch to google phones; the pixel 2 then the 3. Decent phones, no doubt and a pure android experience. However, I missed the perfection that iPhone offers in it's OS. I am not one who cares all that much about customization; if something works well then let it work. I will say this about the iPhone 8 -- I am so very impressed with the battery. In my opinion and experience it lasts longer than the pixels. Pixel batteries are larger, to be sure. But they have to do more. iPhone batter and system just work well together and are far more efficient. Just to give you an example; I took my phone off the charger yesterday at 9:30 am. It is now 11:30 am (the next day) and I have 25% batter left on it, with a good deal of usage, the same as I would have used on a pixel phone. My previous pixel phone would have been dead long ago. The iPhone is still going. This is impressive.

I have to admit, I was hesitant to buy this phone at first. I was coming from an iPhone 6s 64gb, and I didn't see too much in the way of upgrade features. Well suffice it to say, I've been pleasantly surprised. For starters, it's nice to return back to the glass enclosure that earlier iterations of the iPhone had. It just feels like it gives the phone a more premium look. Also, it could just be me, but the colors on the iPhone 8 blow away those from my 6s. It just seems like the colors pop a lot more on this new phone. Best yet, as childish as this may sound, the Space Gray color on this phone is true to form. The Space Gray on my 6s was more silver looking to me. Overall, very happy with this new phone and I highly recommend it!!

Great phone - Perfect Size - iPhone 8 - The screen is the perfect size. I use this mostly for phone and text, as opposed to email and mini-computer like some do. They may need a bigger phone; with the 8, I don't.

Lasted quite a while! Loving it. It's done a good job getting me through until I had the money to purchase a new one.

Probably not worth it if you're upgrading from an iPhone 7, but if you're doing the Verizon payment plan, why not, right? Upgrades are: - Faster processor - Wireless charging (this method charges very slowly; only beneficial overnight) - (I think) faster cable charging. I can usually get 80% battery life in about an hour. - Slightly better camera That's really it. I upgraded from that iPhone SE, and that seemed very fast (it ran the same processor as a 6S). I mean honestly, at a certain point faster processors won't matter. The glass back is very pretty, but the outer rim is still aluminum so it is very prone to dents. Everyone is waiting for the iPhone X anyway... haha.

Phone can do it all. Bought for my grandson to replace a broken phone. I am low tech personally, can't believe how easily a 9 year old ca use it

The advances in iPhone chargers are great. The battery charges faster and lasts longer than before. It's not as big as it was before. New iPhones offer wireless charging now. There is no longer an aux jack, it comes with an adapter. The battery used to take forever to charge now it charges to 100% in a couple of minutes. If you're willing to spend money on wireless headphones then charging the phone and listening to music should not be a problem. Overall I recommend the phone.

I bought this phone when the 11 came out because the $449 price tag was unbeatable for a still pretty new device. Ultimately I got an excellent phone without emptying my pockets. I think this phone is every bit as good as the X for less money if you don’t care about having the home button. Overall I’m glad I bought this phone and will buy another iPhone when this stops working. Best Buy is a decent retailer. It was easy to set up and fast.

Upgraded from the IPhone 6 to the new 8 & could not be more pleased! The first improvement over the 6 is the noticeable speed improvement. It’s rocket fast! In addition, vastly improved battery life & the camera with all its options is simply Fantastic! Upgrade well worth the additional $!

Amazing phone! I got this for Christmas 2017 and I absolutely love it! It is waterproof and works really well. The only downside I have noticed is that when it gets put in water the buttons tend to stick a little bit, I'm not sure why.

Great phone - holds a lot of storage!! I have 6k photos and videos. It sounds bad I know but I’m a mom and a volunteer so I love my photos and memories!

iPhones are great phones. Sturdy and sleek. Great operating system and stability.

This phone hasn’t changed much from the recent one I had. Just a few things different that I really like about it. Overall great phone.

We upgraded from the iPhone 7 because the 7 was messing up, so we just decided to go with this phone. It locked up after a few months and went completely unresponsive. Now we are trying to get it repaired and the appointments just to see the phone are until 1/2 week from now and then it can take up to 2 weeks to get it back. Going with Samsung from now on.
