Had the 7 plus after switching from the galaxy s8. Wasn't sold on the camera quality so I decided to try the 8 plus and see if the camera was any better and boy was it! On par if not better than the S8. If the iPhone X is supposed to have a better camera I can't see how much better it can get. For those saying it's not a significant upgrade it definitely is for the camera and the wireless charging.

My wife loves this device. Her only complaint was adjusting to the large size. She loves everything about it - speed of processing, ease of use, and size of storage (256G). I’ve made a monster and now she’s always going to want a “phablet”. I ordered this for self install and had no problem setting it up at home.

Holds up well if you take care of it. I have passed the two-year mark on this iPhone and feel no need to upgrade currently. Good quality, works well, nice specs. I thought the plus size would feel too big but you get used to it, and now I can't imagine having the smaller size

Love the wireless charging. Takes great pictures. Phone is really fast too.

The larger screen of the 8 plus is great for my older eyes. I really love just setting the phone on a Qi wireless charger at night -- the wireless charging works great and is so convenient and easy! The speaker is great if you want to play music on the fly. The only thing that took me some time to get used to was the different feel of the home button compared to my old iPhone 6.

I purchased the 8plus because I knew the camera would be excellent quality for a trip across the world and it held up its end of the bargain and MORE! I am beyond impressed with its quality and although I was nervous about its size coming from an iPhone SE- it was easier and I am enjoying it a lot.

Overall, I really like the phone. The larger size took a bit getting used to but I love looking at my pictures and being able to see more detail. My calls still get dropped in some areas but I live in the boonies and I guess nothing will change that. The call clarity is good, the camera is good, and I'm happy with the purchase.

I upgraded from the iPhone 7 Plus and this device is fast! I prefer it over the iPhone X for screen size, this screen is bigger for consuming media. Same hardware as the iPhone X but no annoying notch!

The Last edition of this particular Model of this phone is Amazing. Apply really got it right in this one. The phone is comfortable and a joy to use. The cameras are great and it’s the perfect size. I love the wireless charging and it is a very strong phone as well. Always loved apple for the amazing products they provide.

Great screen and colors. Much faster better memory and camera

There is absolutely nothing I can say negative about this iPhone. My daughter uses it for personal use and college work. It holds a charge better than any phone she has had. She has taken absolutely beautiful pictures with the phone and it is so easy to share these moments with us when she away at college.

Great Phone. I was going to buy the iPhone X at first, but thought it was too gimmicky. Its a all "faceID" type of iPhone, I am not really drawn to that feature too much. I just need a iPhone that will work for me. I asked one of the Best Buy employees that had this version previously from her iPhone X upgrade, she felt that the iPhone 8 Plus had a better battery life. So one is expensive, and the other one is more expensive. I decided on the iPhone 8 plus instead, because its at a better price point, and has a better battery life. For a phone that has a enclosed battery, that is something really important to think of. The only real difference from both phones are their screens. The iPhone 8 plus screen is at 5.5 inch with a better battery, and the iPhone X edge to edge screen is at 5.8 inch, plus its FaceID/AugmentedReality feature. Other then that they're technically the same phone.

I love this upgrade, but I don't really notice too many differences compared to the 7. The one thing I do love about it is the wireless charging. This was also an upgrade from the regular iPhone 7. Love the bigger screen and the extra storage I have on it.

Upgraded from a 7 to the 8 Plus. Not a mistake! 256 gig is really nice and don't even get me started on the Portrait mode. I think my kids are tired of me taking pictures. Main selling point for me though was the wireless charging which is fantastic.

I wasn’t fooled by Apples hype of the iPhone X. Sure it’ll be awesome, but I rely on my phone to work for my job, so I couldn’t bet on unproven technology like Face ID. This iPhone gets me 90% of what the X would without sacrificing reliability. Great size, shape, feel, and most importantly for my work, great cameras!

Coming from a android this is my first iPhone.its an adjustment but following all the prompts makes it easy.you do have to have patience.just-retired I have that.love the camara.great pics of granddaughter...it’s a little bigger than I’m use to but have had it 2 weeks and it’s working out great.Another source on information that is at your fingertips....it’s a great time to be alive with all this knowledge at your fingertips....

Switched from an LG4 to this phone mostly because of the competency of the clerk at BB who assured me she could transfer all of my contacts, text messages and pictures from my old phone. The 8+ was super easy to learn how to use and I like the larger screen and keyboard. Really glad I traded phones.

I’d had an iPhone 6 for several years, never feeling the need to upgrade with the S or the 7. After the 8 and X came out, I figured it was time. Opted for the 8 Plus due to increased battery life and reports of better camera. Loving the size, responsiveness and, really, just the whole package. I prefer having the home button and fingerprint ID over faceID, so I don’t think I’ll be missing the X features for a while.

I had the iPhone 6 before this one and I’d always wanted a plus so I decided to get the fastest option available so I got this one. The wireless charging works very well for when I’m at work on my computer listening to music at the same time. It does take getting used to not having a headphone jack

Great phone with fantastic camera -- wife particularly loves the "portrait" mode for taking pictures of family and the family dog. Improved camera and great screen size more than compensate for the larger size of the phone in pocket/purse...
