The size of the phone is just right. Not too big even with a case. Face ID is probably the worst thing about this phone, but oh well

This phone is decently fast and has ok battery life. It’s still way overpriced for what you get.

I was Skeptical about getting it because everyone was saying there was no need to upgrade from the iPhone X but yes there is the full screen color ratio and everything is better and faster I love it

I upgraded from an iPhone 6s Plus to the XS Max. I enjoyed the size of the plus and was looking to get something comparable with my upgrade. The XS Max had all of the specs that I was looking for. So far I have no complaints.

I was on the fence for this i phone but I do like all of the updates moving from and iphon 7 plus to this one the speed is amazing .

Bought 2 phones, and one worked like a dream. Went though the same process with the second, and it was a nightmare. My computer would not recognize the phone (even though it immediately did so with the first), then once we got it to work, within three hours it developed the "Black Screen of Death". The only good thing was the help I received from Best Buy. They swapped it out, and now we have two working phones. Word of advice: NEVER ENCRYPT YOUR BACKUP...save it to the Cloud...it is worth the extra money.

This phone does everything well, but there is really no wow factor ... the large screen largely eliminates the need for an IPad while traveling, but there is really no 'wow, this is next gen technology' feeling when using the phone. Very competent, but also hard to tell apart from other phones on the market. And then there is the cost. IF this was a MUST HAVE, then its a different thing, but this is a competent phone, so the cost is not really justifiable unless you are using a Iphone 6 or 7 or older model.

Upgraded because my 6SPlus was showing signs. Plus, I just wanted a new one. :-) The X series is amazing. Same reliable Apple technology and the familiar iOS. With each upgrade, there are fewer unexpected issues, in operation and with the iOS upgrades

Switching from a android to apple I was expecting to have a lot of issues with operation. But it wasn’t that bad. You can do a lot more with android than apple, but I can tell the hardware apple uses is much nicer. Overall it was a nice upgrade .

I just got the iphone as my samsung was not working . This is my first iphone . I love the text messages that you can send . It is alot easier to use than the samsung product . Highly reccomend

This is an oudated phone today, but was a great phone and does it's job. Highly recommend this phone. Although be ready for the big form factor. I eventually moved away from a Max phone, because it was just too big.

Display is to clear and the phone is easy to use. Phone does tend to get hot though with the slightest use.

So pleased with my upgrade. The only thing I can complain about is that my ring volume doesn’t seem to actually sound like it’s set too. The actual ring is quiet even with my settings being all the way up, and I’ve missed a few notifications because of it.

It is an iPhone. Works as good as any. Nice size screen. Not a fan of the face unlock, prefer to have a homescreen

I am Apple fan so I have no point of reference as to how this phone compares to other brands. Based on its own merit, it is amazing! The screen size, the picture quality, face recognition, ease of use, the list goes on...This phone does not disappoint!

Traded up from a three-year-old 6S plus, and really noticed the performance improvement. Really darned expensive, though!

That’s supposed to be the theory with an upgrade, but not always the case. Sure, processors become quicker and resolutions improve, but I enjoy this iPhone completely. Glad to have the big screen back, after going with the iPhone 7 on my last upgrade.

Awesome phone. Little disappointed that it didn’t come with a SIM card. Other than that, outstanding camera and just a beauty!

No complaints, long-term Apple phone owner, this one is faster but otherwise fairly “super” difference from prior years. It’s my first time with the larger screen/size, which I’m finding I do like!
