I actually bought this case for my iPhone 6s Plus. Though it's for the 7 Plus it fits perfectly. It does slightly cover the outer rim of the camera lens, but it does not interfere with the camera. I have always loved the Apple leather cases but the old ones didn't have physical buttons for the volume and sleep/wake. They were always hard to push or hard to find to push on. The 7 Plus case has physical buttons that has a great "clicky" feel and are easy to find and push. The large camera opening on the case might look a little strange on a 6s Plus, but it functions perfectly. I highly recommend this case.

My Piaggio MP3 cycle has an app to display system telemetry on the iphone. I was using my brand new iphone 7 plus in a Ram mount, which is supposed to be extremely secure. As I was exiting the freeway at 60mph, I watched in horror as my new phone leapt out of the Ram mount, bounced off my foot, and disappeared on the freeway behind me. It was at night, and my case is dark grey, so it took a few minutes to find it against the grey pavement, and frankly I was surprised it hadn't been run over by the cars behind me. Although the leather case took a beating on the back and especially on all 4 corners, the only damage I can find on the iphone is abrasion on the power button on the right side. Amazingly, the leather case completely protected everything else!

I used to purchase the other cases but with my iPhone 6s I decided to go Apple. I loved the case, it protected the phone great and it looks really nice. I put a zagg screen protector on the front glass for extra protection. I probably dropped that phone 20 times over the year I had it and nothing ever happened to the phone. The case took a beating and the screen protector cracked but the phone stayed flawless. So, now that I just purchased the iPhone 7 and had to get a new case it was a no-brainer.I'm attaching pictures of the iPhone 6s case, its basically the same just the new one has a wider camera slot. Believe it or not the case in the pictures was saddle brown when I purchased it. That is the one thing about the leather cases, they change colors widely.

Leather case has a great feel to it. Not much bulk. The metal buttons on the phone are very responsive.

I have the iPhone 7plus and the color online is a bit darker. The leather is smooth but it can slip from your hands if your not holding it correctly. I would buy it again but in the gray color. The leather gets marked easily.

Amazing product quality is not very wide and super comfortable

the description of the protector came as "excellent", the truth is that it was disgusting, I do not recommend at all to buy "open boxes" super mistake of bestbuy should not sell this type of products if they are in terrible conditions. my protector came with scratches and broken the corner.

I always loved the Midnight Blue color case for this phone so I purchased this for my iPhone 8 Plus, since the phone is the same size as the 7 Plus - it does fit. It does look great and the inside soft felt like fabric should protect the new glass back on iPhone 8/8 Plus from possible heavy scratching, smudges and fingerprints. A slight downside right now is that this is my first Apple Leather case and the very first thing I noticed was how slippery the sides, top are. Very different compared to my old Apple 6 Plus Silicone case which I found had very nice grip to it, there was no fear of having it slip out of your hands. From what I read on other sites this case, especially the Midnight Blue (Storm Gray model also) yes others found it extremely slippery at first but after a week or two the grip felt much better. I suppose it's basically "breaking it in - the leather will become softer in time." So I will hold on to it and hope it does just that. *Update - Sept 30. The case feels much better since my initial review, not as slippery. Also keep in mind, these do scratch easily, expect minor scuffs . It's not damaged with deep scratches where the case it compromised or it looks just bad. I basically see this like a pair of new sneakers, you will get scuffs. I don't mind it. But If you want a case that will look pristine for a long long time - this may not be for you. Perhaps a leather cleaner/conditioner will remove these, make it look new again. I'm not sure right now, it's something I personally need to try at some point. I still like the case.

I love this case. It is lightweight, yet durable. It feels nice to hold. It is visually appealing for its quality and simplicity. Other phone cases are made of materials that feel sticky, spongy, rubbery, and yet still have hard plastic elements- not fun to hold. Other leather phone cases seem to be treated with strong chemicals and the colors might fade. Not this one. This feels like the most nonallergenic phone case I have ever owned.

Great looking case! I had the red for 12 months and it was starting to look very tired, now wanted to upgrade the feel of my phone since I’m not going with the iPhone X...apple cases fit snugly, look great and offer some good drop protection! I’ve maybe dropped my phone in 12 months only 5 times, but on concrete, tile, carpet and the case had protected my phone. You can always see where the case made impact, but the leather does actually look better after a while. So the “self healing” leather is actually not a gimmick! After a year my first case did look “dirty” even though that was just the leather color wearing off. Still fit snugly after 12 months. Great leather cases by Apple.

There is nothing better than the apple leather cases. Soft to the touch, tactile metal buttons, and good protection. Feels like it's naturally part of my phone.

Best part of buying Apple accessories is that they have a 1 year warranty. Comes in handy if you damage the case in a drop, just visit an Apple store and they’ll swap it out (with proof of purchase). The saddle brown is a clean looking style. Professional but classic. The color will show scratches and if you put in your dark jeans pocket, expect some color transfer. Apple uses leather that doesn’t age as well as other leather but you’ll get an aged patina nonetheless. The bottom is open so it won’t protect your phone from drops directly to the bottom (from personal experience). If you’re buying this for an iPhone 8 Plus, it will fit but it’s going to be a snug fit.

Fits perfect, durable and beautiful color. A bit slippery at first, but once you use for a couple days the leather has more grip.

Great quality and fits the iPhone 8Plus as well as the 7Plus since the are the same size. Midnight Blue is the way to go!

Apple's leather cases are beautiful compliments to an iPhone. I've gone through a number of highly rated cases looking for the "perfect fit" both aesthetically and practically, but I keep coming back to Apple's leather case. Yes, it's expensive. But it does age well and is stylish but protective.

Had another cleathee case years ago but found this gem for less than wahtvwould e paid at Apple store. I live how it gives the aged leather look after coming in and out of your pocket multiple times. It’s truly beautiful. My only drawback I wish the both was enclosed for all around protection. I get it was made for ease of taking in and out but I’ve already dropped my phone and noticed some scratches on the back of my 8 plus glass

I had a leather case on my iPhone 6 and loved it but hated the price. I was lucky to find this case on sale for $20 knowing that it fits the iPhone 8 plus. The case has a great feel and look, the price when it is not on sale is pretty high especially if you like to change the look of your phone like my wife does.

This case goes beyond what you usually expect from a case. Not only does it provide a sufficient amount of protection to your idevice, but also adds a professional/elegant look. That being said there is still one aspect of this case that I really enjoyed. THE FEEL! The genuine leather feel is unexplainable. This case does not turn your pockets inside out when it is pulled out and at the same time becomes very grippy and secure when placed on slanted surface or when being held in hand! Apple went a step further to provide satisfaction for its users!

This stylish case is worth the price. It is light and fits perfectly with the iPhone and feels very protective.
