This adapter was necessary for me to use my new iPhone with my existing car radio jack. It allows me to listen to my favorite music through my car speakers without any interference. The small iPhone adapter is highly recommended and extremely user-friendly.

It's perfect, it does the job well. I don't have too many applications where i need this adapter, but it has served it's purpose. Recently bought the Airpods Max and I am looking to buy another to use them with my laptop which has a 3.5mm port.

This Apple adapter cable allows me to use my wired earbuds with my iPhone. It sounds strange that someone might want to use wired earbuds instead of Bluetooth earbuds but the wired earbuds don't fail or run out of battery power. Mine failed and I have not replaced them yet so I use my wired earbuds almost every day. This cable enables me to do that.

Firstly, I don't do wireless when I'm listening to music. For the phone application, a wireless earpiece is a must. Music is a totally different beast altogether. Apple uses Cirrus Logic DAC's, some of the best in the industry, proven by better ears than mine, but with the removal of the 3.5 mm headphone jack, this least expensive Apple accessory offered is an obvious must-have for the Audio Connoisseur. To access the audio stream as cleanly as possible wired is the preferred method and this little baby does just that best at this price point. You can spend more money and gain some more detailed imaging, but there comes a point called, diminishing returns. More money spent, not much more audio actually gained. Most of my audio files are not DSD, but FLAC, MP3 etc... So for $10.00, Deal, count me in. Until wireless can match wired, not likely, it's the dongle life for me. I have NO problem with that. As long as Apple keeps using High-Quality DAC's, I'll keep buying iPhones that play Hi-Res, DSD, Flac, Hi Freq on Tune-In etc...

I needed this adapter for work to conduct interviews. It was easy to attach to phone which is and antiquated iPhone.Vlients do not complain about not hearing me or background echos. I am an android user which is easy to obtain attachments such as earbuds etc. This purchase has definitely made my work day more effective

This adapter is very easy to use and small enough to be put away with no problem. It charges my custom ear buds which I use for music and for my mac book computer. I highly recommend this adapter.

Pricing (for Apple) wasn't outrageous. I knew my "new" iphone 8 took a wired headset - that's why I opted for that vs X (etc) I have my fav earphones... what I didn't realize until I was on a plane to Florida was that there was no mini-jack... you needed an adapter. I never ever open the supplied headphones and didn't even think to check. So upon arriving in Clearwater I knew there was a BestBuy on the way to my destination and it was relatively easy to find... used it on my 90 minutes DELAYED flight back home... works fine, seamless. just need to remember to pack it with my earphones... it's probably only a 3" adapter, so fits neatly into the earphone pouch. no complaints

Best danged Lightning to 3.5 mm headphone adapter ever made!

The lightning to 3.5 adapter is truly revolutionary in design and function. There has never been a better adapter created in all the world. Not only allowing to plug one end into the most modern iPhones available, but allowing you to keep using your old wired headphones you’ve loved for years. This adapter will serve you long and become like a trusted friend. It’s the most amazing adapter ever created. Even if you don’t have an iPhone, you should buy this adapter for the unboxing experience. It’s truly an experience you can get nowhere else. Be the envy of all your friends and family.

I know some people would call me an Apple fan, but their products just work. I brought a third-party adapter like this and it did not allow me to except incoming calls. The Apple adapter is very short lightweight and thin but it just works I can listen to music and except incoming calls on any of my 3.5 MM Jack headphones. The third-party adapter that I brought came in the color I wanted gold was much longer and thicker than the Apple adapter but did not allow me to except incoming calls which was annoying. I am very happy Apple decided not to charge people $30 or $40 for such a small adapter. This will be my second adapter but I will make sure not to lose it I will simply leave it at the end of one of my 3.5 MM headphones.

I bought this to use my wired earbuds with my iPhone. It works perfectly. I started using this to run music from my iPhone through a practice bass amp, and it also works flawlessly for that. It feels thin, but it has held up to regular use.

Apple’s “executive decision” forced me to embrace Bluetooth or switch to Android, and I opted to remove the wires from my world. Which of course added more wires, because everything needs a charging cable and now I need an additional wire for those times my Bluetooth headphones run out of battery and I still want to pleasure my ears. This dainty dongle does the deed. While it feels fragile, I have had one for over a year now with no signs of wear. They are amazingly easy to keep track of, so I can only assume the elves that steal your socks use android, or you would be left with a drawer full of right socks and useless headphones. Four stars, because you really have to buy multiple unless you get a custom built wallet with a headphone adapter slot.

Super handy for connecting old ear buds to phones with lightning ports. I also use it to connect phone to car so I can listen to music via audio in port through a cable. If you have an old car without Bluetooth it’s necessary if you don’t want to listen to music on your phone. It won’t charge your phone tho. But it’s a simple plug in so if you have a lot of charge and just want to listen to music on your way home from work it’s what you need.

This was such an awesome purchase. It replaced the one that broke greatly.

I read that Apple is going to discontinue these adapters, so I bought two more! They were easy to attach and work perfectly. I can use my vintage Beats Studio headphones! Yay!

Since apple got rid of the headphone jack this has been my best friend for all my older headphones. Great quality and hasn’t broken on me yet

As you would expect from Apple, this product works great and is durable. My 5 year old daughter dropped her iPad with her headphones plugged in and broke the internal port. I bought this to keep her iPad going a little bit longer. Works perfectly.

Innovative, handy, excellent quality. Great price. Saved me money by allowing me to use my old earbuds.
