If you are a photographer who edits raw photos using an iPad on the go then its definitely worth buying this product. Transferring images is very easy using this card reader. This also comes handy for me specially during travel when I have to transfer images from camera to iPhone or iPad so that I can quickly edit them and upload. Overall in my opinion this is a must have product for anyone with a camera and an iPad or iPhone.

Works as intended--relatively inexpensive, and immediately opens a new album for you to import pics directly to your iphone. Works well if you want to post stuff on IG, or share images quickly.

Works great with my iPhone. Easy to hook up, and memory card from camera attaches with no problems.

When my laptop had to be sent in for repair I was getting backed up with editing my photos for clients. This adapter saved me from disappointing my clients and didn’t compromise my work flow. This little adapter saved me big time again and again. Still use it to this day to load my clients pictures to my iPad for better viewing and allows them to see and pick their favorites of their session.

Apple really looked out for the photographers & content creators with this SD Card Reader. You can download almost any size photo & video to your iphone or iPad and send them to who ever. One thing to remember is just make sure you not shooting RAW. Make sure you erase images weekly nothing worse than having a phone full of photos and having to erase them all at once.

Love being able to load pics to my phone with this. It’s super easy to use.

Easy to use quick set up and compact right color and great service

The lighting SD card reader is the easiest way to transfer data from camera to my iPhone / iPad. It’s faster transfer speed than using WiFi/Bluetooth. I find it’s also easier to keep it organized on my devices while I’m on the road away from home. I mainly use it to transfer picture / video content from my mirrorless camera to my iPhone / iPad to edit. Super easy.

if you need a SD Card reader that plugs in straight to your iPhone, Ipad, or iPod this is the one you must have. I use Panasonic cameras which shoot in .MOV format. they easily upload thru the SD CARD Reader right into my phone. It plays inside my Apple product. I can easily upload to all the social media apps. I wanna buy another one. *I had one non brand sd reader that was cheap that came from ebay it broke after 2 uses. save time and get this ONE!

Transfer all your pictures from your camera to your I-Phone in one easy step. I am very pleased with the ease with which I was able to transfer my pictures and videos from my camera to my iCloud and then project them onto my 85" TV screen.

You have to use apple products with apple devices or an error appears saying it doesnt recognize. I use this to upload DSLR pics from my memory card to my ipad when traveling so my photos are in more than one place should something happen to my camera. (And can also then sync to cloud etc.) Super helpful

Traveled with a big DSLR camera but wanted a way to get then pics from the camera over to my iPhone and iPad right away. This could not be easier, just plug in the memory card and then plug the cable into the iPad and it automatically launches the Photos app! So easy to use and so easy to travel with to bring peace of mind that my pics can be moved over to my phone/ipad and backed up.

I love this doctor I am able to take the ST card out of my camera and put it in the adapter and connect it to my cell phone so I can edit my pictures on my iPad or on my iPhone. I am able to use Wi-Fi on my camera to get the files but I am unable to get the raw files that’s why I got this adapter so I can pull the raw files off of the camera and put them on my cell phone so I can edit them.

I love this device. When going on vacation, I would bring my iPad and then need to download pictures from my cameras onto the iPad. However, before this devise, it was time consuming and difficult at times, to find Wifi and connect camera to iPad via bluetooth/ wi-fi and then download pictures. With this device, just insert memory card from camera into devise and plug into iPad, and instantly you can download your pictures!
