This is awesome! I can take the pictures from my camera to my phone is an instant! You can even choose which ones to download!

To be clear, I bought this for the purpose of transferring pictures from my camera's SD card to my iPad Pro. This does NOT enable external storage for the iPad. iOS 12 now transfers RAW images quickly from the camera's card and can natively process and edit the images. That means on a recent two-week trip I could take just my iPad and this adaptor, import and work with my images and share them. No computer required. I only rate it four stars due to the cost.

Very easy to use. I. Just hope they don’t change cord plug in. The only reason I bought is was that my old one did not work on my current IPAD.

Works better than I thought. You can view and/or transfer pics on the Apple device from the inserted sd card or save pics from your phone directly to the card. Actually easier than syncing your Apple device to a PC. Very pleased.

I purchased this for my iPad since my MacBook is on the fritz right now. I can upload pictures from my camera's memory card right onto the iPad quickly and easily.

Great for allowing you to Save photos/Videos on your IPhone or Android from devices that do not have WiFi or sending abilities like some SLR cameras, camcorders, video capable telescopes, Sighting scopes, Binoculars and more. Simply take the SD card out of your device, place in the Lightning SD card reader then plug into your cellphone charging port and you can immediately send the pic or video via Text, email, Twitter whatever. No waiting to upload once you get home and do it on your computer. Unfortunately, most cellphones have limitations on how long a video can be to send via email or text, etc. IPhone says they working to increase this limitation very soon. Otherwise, still a great device to take stuff from SD cards and be able save, play + send.

Works very well on my iphone 14 pro max . Using it with my rexxing dash cam provides guaranteed acess to my files incase the rexing app is down .

It does what it says. Plug it into your iPad, insert an SD card, and it opens an import window to add your photos to Photos. It works with RAW, JPEG, and RAW+JPEG. You'll just see the JPEGs on your iPad, but if you're using iCloud Photo Library, RAW files will be synced to your Mac Photos app.

So glad I bought this! Saves me so much time being able to immediately transfer photos to my phone!

If you own any iPad Pro or the new generation iPad, this is a must have accessory. If you’re into the photography game, this should be in your kit with your iPad. Pricy, yes, but does the job seamlessly. With the iOS 13 update, this thing is a blessing.

Another great working product, thanks Best Buy Another great working dongle for my iPad Pro 10.5 512gb, I just don’t know what I would do without all the necessary dongles required. The dongles make life much easier and the iPad work like it should I just wish dongles weren’t so important

I immediately gave it a try. I took a few pictures and slid the SD card in the lightning adapter while connected to my IPAD and immediately a menu popped up with options. Very simple, no special actions needed. If you want to load pictures on an IPAD from as SD card....it's simple.

I was on vacation and took a lot of pictures. However I forgot extra sd cards. I only had my iPad with me so I needed something to unload my pictures from my camera. This was a life savor as well as an immediate answer to my problem. So glad I purchased it for all my memories!

Bought one of these to take on vacation to load photos from our underwater camera onto the Ipad. Took it along on an onsite shoot last fall and realized I needed my own. Use it to upload photos from sporting events to the ipad so I can send them to my editor before deadline. Fits neatly in my camera bag.

This was a good product. Makes it easy to transfer file/photos from camera to phone. Atl first I thought I had to go into folders, but if it’s photo just open photo in the phone and the sd will pop up on the right side. Easy to use. Would recommend if you take photos on camera and want to upload to social media on your phone.
