I needed some way to send photos to my 91 year old Dad and Mom who has Alzheimer's. We purchased an iPad for them then this accessory was a great easy to use tool for them to receive photos from me since I do not live near them. Photos keep them in touch and a way to share my life with them.

The Lightening to SD Card Reader is a wonderful and easy tool to use to transfer photo and video files to your Apple Iphone. It automatically connects you to your camera uploads folder and you can choose to upload all or select which files to download individually.

This thing is so helpful on vacation/trips to download photos immediately while away from my computer. Its easy and straight to the point.

Works as intended. Bought this for adding photos and videos from my camera to my iPad mini for creating video slideshows. When plugged in it opens the photo app and allows you to import photos directly to the iPad.

These SD card readers are great. I can take pictures with my SLR camera and remove the card and insert it into this handy device and download all the pictures I took right in to my iPad.

I bought a camera that was to. be easy to upload pictures to facebook and it wasn't easy at all. The apple representative was at Best Buy and suggested this product. It is easy and the best ever!

Purchased for my husband that is not computer savvy. He uses it on either his iPhone or iPad and I love that I don't have to download a bunch of trail camera pictures to my personal computer now.

Easy and simple to work. Took it out of the box and it was ready to go and my husband not ever using anything like this before was able to read the instructions that came with it and download pictures very easily.

Whatever you say, there is something about apples evo system that just makes life so much easier. And this ad card reader is no exception. Granted the design is not the top notch but the functionality is simple at it's best. Easy to use, transferring files like never before.

So simple, plug & play. I use the card reader to verify and/or read the contents of the card. Directly plug the adapter into my iPhone, add the card and instantly the card is read the appropriate program is opened and wala, pic's or videos are appearing on my phone.

This was a perfect adapter for me. I have an older canon camera so I am able to take lots of hand then just transfer the pictures to my device anywhere I am at.

For those of us who like to use an iPad to download photos in the field from an SD card this is the best way I have seen to do that. Faster than wifi but not at usb 3 speeds (unless you use an iPad Pro). Fits easily in my photo back pack. Highly recommended.

Very happy with purchase ,my husband can take his SD cards out of the game cameras in hunting season and see what's on the card by plugging right into his phone . Instead of bring all back home and using computer, perfect way to load pictures from card right on the phone .

All these years I did not know that could have purchased this for transferring my files to my iPad or MacBook. Ease of use no extra programs in order to upload photos so that I can see that it edit on my iPad.
