Not a lot of bells and whistles here to speak of. It is a base price Mac Mini that if you have a monitor already should prove useful. Still would recommend the Thunderbolt display with this since it just doesn't fully function with my Sony Playstation 3D Display (Yes I know those have issues but besides the usual suspects). All in all there's no lower price to get a Mac OS X with Wireless ac. If you know what that means and don't want to spend much. This is a must buy.

I have seen Mac mini's for years but never looked into them. So my Windows tower was so old and aging, I decided to look into how to get a Mac for the least money possible. I already had the monitor, keyboard, mouse etc. So I saw that Bestbuy had a certified Mac mini on sale. I bought it and have been impressed so far. It is the 2014 Mac mini and it does the job well. I'm not new to MacOS because I have multiple MacBooks, but the mini is so compact and fits perfectly on the desk for kids to do homework and look up things. It is still fast with the i5 processor and 500gb hard drive is more than enough for what I need since I use cloud services mostly. Apple is still supporting it and love that I have a simple solid Mac setup for a fraction of what it would cost getting an iMac. I would love to see Apple update the Mac mini line since it has been 4 years since. If you need a Mac and already have the necessary monitor, keyboard, etc., look at the Mac mini for under $500. I know most people may say but you can't update the 2014 model as opposed to the 2012 model, and I get that but what the 2014 offers for me its perfect at this time. Had Apple let you upgrade the internals, this would be a 5 star review from me.

With the memory soldered on the mother board, you can't max the RAM modules out like other Mac Mini's. 4 gigs seems like a lot to a few years ago, but the more the better is my motto. Good for the average user/families, etc. Great Apple product nonetheless. I ended up returning the Mini without even opening the box.

This computer is very easy to start, and kboard and muse conect very simple! I,m so happy with my new machine!

I have no issues installing this computer to my present monitor and mouse. only I have to buy a new key board.

Love the Mac MIni. I wanted a Mac, but also wanted to use my own monitor. This was perfect and it is small enough that I could hide it out of the way.

I bought this for my dad. It was easy to setup, easy for him to use. It can do everything he needs to do.

I love my new apple mini, it is so user friendly. Everyone said switching from a hp. to apple would be a problem, but none here :)

Excellent value for the money. Comes with all the features of a Mac at a fraction of the price. Great choice where portability is not an issue.

Good, solid desktop. minimal space requirement and works seamlessly. I do a lot of design/production work using Adobe products and have no issues with programs or reliability. Good solution for most users who don't do high end video editing and don't need a huge desktop unit.

I had a cpu that had a good monitor but hated windows. This machine is an amazing deal for the price!
