This laptop looks even better in person. The keyboard feels weird at first due to the short throw. I had to check the text because I kept thinking I did not press the keys as I type. After about 15 of use and as I trust that I was pressing the key, the keyboard actually feels great. It's very quiet and I can actually type faster with it.

It's a great ultra portable laptop. It is really light in weight and doesn't take up too much space. It is super quiet and runs most programs efficiently. If you intend to run multiple high end programs at the same time, then this is not a good option. But it works well for using the internet and the occasional word document. It takes some getting used to with working with not ports and the keyboard is a little different.

Nice little Mac Book that's easy to take everywhere and has what seems to be pretty close to a standard sized keyboard in a nice and light package. But don't let the small size fool you - it's a powerhouse.

just a solid leisure computer, save the photoshop, video editing for the macbook pros, this computer is light, ultra portable, used for web browsing, emails, light video editing, have already used gopro editing software & it works fine.

This computer does everything I hoped but there have been a few challenges with doing anything via a direct connection as opposed to over a wireless network. I knew what I was buying and made some trade-offs but the lack of any ports other than the charging port required that I spend $100+ on various connectors. To date I have not been able to find a connector that allows me to connect to my Thunderbolt backup drive.

This new MacBook is even better than the MacBook Air, a little bit bigger than the 11" and a little bit smaller than the 13" even though is 12" is not that big nor small and you can do everything you need with it. Just buy the adapter for the USB3 in order for you to use a flash drive, an external HDD or an external DVD burner

design is impressive, supper light weight. they pushed the limit of thickness beyond necessary and somewhat put that cost on the keyboard causing it to be less responsive.

I've been debating switching from MS to Apple for years now. The computer is smaller than my PC laptop, but it's still quite workable, Very well put together, ridiculously light, works well with my iPhone and iPad. Only 4 stars because I'm not yet sold on cloud-based storage and wish it had better memory, and (almost contradictory), I am still learning about how powerful it is. I haven't touched a PC laptop since getting this, and only use the (verrrrry slow) desktop when I absolutely have to.

New MacBook is the sleekest yet, smooth operation stylish to handle. Love the keyboard!! Wish I would have thought to purchase the USB adapter at the same time. The new power/usb adapter is extra, but necessary for most. The power plug is the best yet from Apple.

The new Macbook is a great laptop - lightweight and fast. I like the keyboard, I'm a little clumsy with typing so the new key design works great for me, fewer mishits and the touchpad is so much better than anything else out there. Only complaint is the facetime camera is not very good, Apple could have done better there.

This computer is super nice great image, easy to use but the only problem is you need to carry everything you need and everything needs an adapter. Si if your a on the go person you may need to think before you buy because you will be carrying a lot of things

Other than only having one USB-C port and it bogging down a little under heavy Photoshop use, great computer. I like the keyboard (I have gotten used to less key travel, it is super portable, and the screen is so much better than the Air. Great notebook.

Love the color and the laptop screen is jus the right size and is super light love it

As a lifelong IBM guy, I am impressed with the quality, software, and device integration with my phone, tablet and watch. The single port is a bit of a pain, especially remembering the HDMI dongle when I travel - and the fact the dongle cost an arm and a leg.

you can't go wrong with a mac, however Im biased. I'm that hipster dude in those mac commercials. Buying this computer is safe. Mac offers limited options. I get panic attacks in the tooth paste isle; buying a PC is impossible because differentiating requires lots of work. plus it looks sexy on the table.
