The description says comes with restore cd but it was not in the box. No manual either.

Not a bad computer. Battery life is ok, not the best but it works. It's a little slow turning on and off but still pretty decent for the money. CD rom however does not work, but is covered under warranty. I would buy again.

The computer arrived on time and in great condition. I love the concept of the os, but the only 2 mb of ram are apparently not enough to run the system above prehistoric speed. Having never used a MAC but using ONLY iPhone and iPads I was very excited to complete the circle, but unwilling to spend the money for a new MacBook. I thought the Low price of this computer would give me a taste, it did. I had to return it though. I ended up buying a new iPad and keyboard. I would buy a macbook if the price and features were more in line with what a comparably pc offered.

After several days of experimentation, I’m beggining to really like and appreciate iOS. However, the mechanical hard drive lack of speed drags down my opinion of this Macbook. I’m strongly considering new Macbook Air. We’ll see.

Most of my business is done on the internet which allows me to travel quite a bit. I don't like traveling with my main macbook pro, so I was looking for something inexpensive mostly for internet access and storing photos. This is perfect. It's an older model, but perfect for internet access and downloading photos from cameras. If you can find one, these are great values.

I have purchased refurbished items from BB in the past with no issues. Received the product before I was original told which was awesome. Upon opening the box, the top of the laptop was all scratched. I do understand this is a used machine, but this should have been disclosed. I opened the laptop to see that it was literally dirty. Every crack had build up and was nasty, this is not what I expected to get from Best Buy. I turned the computer on, this was supposed to be a gift, to make sure everything was working. Right after powering the laptop on I noticed a white/grey line across the screen where a previous image must have burned into the screen. I am so disappointed in this purchase and will be returning.

Refurbished MacBook was a great gift for my niece for graduation n college she hasn’t had any problems with it. Very satisfied

I am learning about this Mac. There is a lot to learn. I worked an hour with a Geek Squad member and he showed me several things and told me how to access a tutorial which was also helpful. I had some new problems so called Apple to help but they couldn't do anything until my operating system was downloaded. I was surprised that Best Buy had not done that initially. It has been 2 1/2 hrs and it still is downloading. The Apple people are so nice and patient with me. So in the future I will probably be contacting them for any further issues. I am excited about this computer and all that I am learning; it is so different from a pc which is what I was using previously.

Good buy for those who want to try a Mac. Exterior is scuffed. Memory needed upgrading, but that is a pretty cheap fix.

Bought refurbished because of the price, no way I was spending new price for a laptop that I wanted mainly for road trips or just to grab and look something up real quick. Have had absolutely no problems with it , just as good as my mini Mac. love them both.

The apple computer was a fantastic value. It has exceeded my expectations.

Kinda bummed that the charger doesn't work! I have to play with it for far too long before it will connect and start charging. If the cord moves at all it quits charging. Over all the computer is in good shape and works well. I would buy refurbished apple products again from this company.

Something busted after a month or two, still works

It wasn't wiped from the last user and it wouldn't allow us to do the updating. We ended up exchanging for a newer model. Best Buy was awesome to work with but this wasn't our best purchase experience.

When I came across this deal I was somewhat excited and hopeful. This MacBook has major cosmetic flaws. There's scratches and cracks everywhere. It run smoothly unless too many applications are running. I attempted to return it but I was one day too late. I recommend paying full price for a new mac.

I wasn't happy that it came set to German, the case was a little more worn for a refurbished computer than I expected. Shipping was a total mess. Runs good, but I can't get all the the German writing to go away even though I have US English selected.

When I bought this, I thought it is an Apple laptop; how bad can it be that it is refurbished? Well, I bought it for my adult son and he has had trouble with it almost since day one. It overheats constantly, half the time it will not start up all the way, and purchasing it 2 months before Christmas was my downfall.
