Excellent product and great battery life! It was worth it to get the MacBook Air which is lighter in weight and easier to travel with. Being in sales and traveling often, this product is excellent! I also love the fact that with the info sharing function, lots of stuff was automatically transferred from my PC laptop to the MAC effortlessly.

This is the first Apple computer I've ever owned after having a Dell laptop for almost 6 years. I am student teaching this semester, so I needed a laptop that was easily portable, had good battery life, and enough space for all of the word documents and power points I have to make for school- in addition to all of my photos and music. I don't think I'll be running out of space anytime soon. Even though the Air does not have a disk drive (unless you purchase it separately), it was easy to transfer my files, pictures, and music via a flash drive. It you are browsing for a computer to meet basic needs, this is a great option but there are more budget friendly options available. Ultimately, I am happy with my purchase and I would recommend the product.

I had 2 computers die and needed something to replace them. I've always been a fan of Apple and couldn't be happier. The solid state drive is amazing. I have never had anything boot up so fast. It doesn't get very hot like other laptops and the battery seems to last forever. When it does need charging it charges incredibly fast.

Helped pick this out for my mom for christmas. She was looking to upgrade from her old computer. She loves how easy it was to start using and how light and portable it is. The battery life seemed to be significantly better than her last. Her only disappointment was the lack of CD-ROM but that seems to be a trend with new computers.

I used to have a disdain for Apple products but my old job provided me with a Macbook Pro and then I drank the Apple koolaid. :-) Since then, I've been dying to buy this one because it's lighter, efficient, and still fast. I have Photoshop and a few other programs on it and it's still very fast and powerful. I carry it around in my briefcase and it's like carrying an extra notebook. Also, it charges pretty quickly and the battery life is good. Yes it's pricey but we've all come to expect that from Apple and their products but you will not be disappointed whatsoever with this laptop.

First, it's a Macbook Air, not much is needed to say if you're an apple fan. But me and my husband bought this laptop and it's great. The size is perfect for us, especially since we're often times on the go. But the performance is great. We use various Adobe programs and the speed of this light laptop doesn't slow down!

Recent job change, so I needed portable computing. Already had an iMac, so thought about an iPad. The mini was clearly not meant for business and reviews said I'd need at least 32GB to run OS 8, so looked at iPad Air 2, but the built-in keypad took up too much space. The salesman showed us a cover/keypad, but the price moved up to almost $800. Next to was a MacBook Air 4GB RAM, 256 GB storage for $1000 (on sale). And it's a "real" computer that runs software versus apps, with USB ports, Thunderbolt port, and bigger screen. Great product, struck me as the ideal laptop the first time I saw one.

This is a very reliable easy to use computer. It was recommended to me by a friend because it would also be compatible with my I-phone. I don't think I've ever looked at the instruction book; it has been so easy to figure out and navigate. Great screen size and image quality. I would highly recommend this MAC.

My MacBook Air is easy to use, keyboard is nice to the touch, its light weight. Battery life is excellent. Recharges fast. Safari is a nice web browser and navigating on the net is easy. Screen size is adequate, but I still need my reading glasses. Its a lot of money, but I financed over 18 months and I figure if I can just sent $100 every month, I'll be done in 10 months time. I still haven't used it for entertainment yet, but I want to learn how to stream T.V. shows and movies through net flicks. I took the Discover My Mac down at the Apple Store in Tigard at Washington Square and it was highly beneficial for a new user. If I had to do it again, I would definitely buy the same computer. I'm very happy.

This is a great laptop for home use. It gets a bit tricky using Microsoft office or outlook 365 on Apple products when you switch back and forth between windows and macs, so I prefer to keep my work files separate for the most part. However this boots up fast and is easy to use and incredibly thin and light.

Switching from a PC to a Mac is not easy but it was well worth the struggle to relearn functions. I love how my MacBook and iPhone communicate. I love that I can make calls and text from my MacBook. It really makes my life easier. Plus it is so darn light and doesn't heat up! A++

I always thought I'd have trouble using a Mac because I've always used PCs, but this computer is so intuitive. It even walked me through how to move all of my stuff from my old laptop to the new one over wifi, which was super awesome. I also love how lightweight this is.

Fast Laptop with Long Lasting Battery Life

I just made the switch to a macbook after using Windows for many years. The battery life on this is AMAZING! I get about 12.5 hrs and can go almost all day using it before having to charge it again. The laptop turns on from "sleep mode" right as you lift up your screen and takes about 5 seconds from a "shutdown mode." It definitely did take some time to get used to though, but once I got used to everything I have been really enjoying it. The only thing I do miss is my big screen size (I prefer bigger screen sizes), but the 13.3" is sufficient for everyday use. The biggest thing I had to get used to though was the scrolling. You scroll down to go up like you would on an ipad/tablet. But the other features on the trackpad are really nice. I would definitely recommend this laptop, especially when Best Buy has their macbook sales (you could also get student coupons on macbooks every once in a while through their student program).
