so I have always wanted a laptop and I went with this one. I am brand new to the apple line after being a android user for years. I got my iPhone loved it so much I switch everything over to apple. I researched everything about laptops, from the best to medium range laptops and talked to the best buy rep about everything and anything about the air and the pro and explained the differences and asked what I would be using it for. He took his time and never once made me feel rushed into buying one, or that I was bothering him with all my questions, so. we both agreed on this one. And well, perfectly honest, its everything I could ask for. everything is smooth and well thought out. its fast and easy to use, although I'm still learning how to use it and what it can do, so far it is well worth the investment. I have to remember its a laptop not a phone where I download apps too.. in all you'll be happy with it..

Slick, fast, and efficient. This laptop is pleasing to look at and incredibly smooth to use. I love how I'm able to connect my iPhone and my MacBook Air together so I can multi-task and hold a conversation with somebody over FaceTime or messenger. Not only is this incredibly fast, it's so lightweight. As a college student, it's so wonderful to have a laptop that is easily transportable!

I love Apple products and own pretty much one of each item released. I love that all of my stuff is linked and syncs. I previously had a MacBook Pro and I loved it very much but it was bulky. This one is light as a feather, I love the design, the picture quality, and the speed of the computer. Great purchase! The color is cute too! It matches my rose gold Apple watch, beats headphones, and iPhone.

For me the two biggest advantages are the portability of the device and the synergy with the Apple ecosystem. The i5 processor can stutter a bit once you start to multi task but so long as you keep your workload basic, it’s never too bad an issue (just don’t expect to do anything like photoshop on this reliably). The battery life is awesome and can get me 2-3 days on moderate use with screen brightness scaled back. The hard drive is small and there’s no getting around that. If you are thinking about upgrading it in the future, don’t. Just buy the model with higher capacity. I use 1tb of cloud storage on Microsoft’s One Drive and it works great to supplement the storage but I’m thinking about getting the Samsung T5 portable SSD in the future.

It’s a Mac, of course it’s fabulous! I’m a recent convert to Apple, having bought a MacBook last year and absolutely love everything about it. If you have suffered through Windows as long as I have, I simply go back to the time-honored phrase of why people buy Apple: it just works. The legendary build quality, beauty, and stunning form and function are just icing on the cake. This MacBook Air is for my wife, a teacher, who just needs a reliable general-purpose machine, so we opted for the 8 GB/128 GB hard drive configuration. The solid-state drive is a dream—it boots instantly—and unlike most Windows machines, we don’t need to restart all the time. This newest version of the MacBook Air has amazing screen resolution, although I’m sure that comes at a cost to the battery life. I haven’t tested the battery much so I can’t comment on its life, but if the specs are accurate, it is more than we need. Some people don’t like the reduced travel action of the keypad but I love it, especially if it helps to keep the dimensions small. The MacBook Air appeals to my minimalist approach to computers so I have no problem with having only two accessory ports. For fans of Apple, I’m merely preaching to the choir; for Windows users considering a change, you’ll never regret buying a Mac.

Love my new MacBook Air. It is faster than my previous version, smaller in overall size but still the same size screen. Retina display is clear and crisp. Love the Touch ID for faster unlocking and passwords. New keyboard takes a little adjustment but overall it's smooth. What can I say, It's a Mac and it does everything I need it to do with ease, security and with no glitches or hiccups.

I upgraded my MacBook Air 2015 version to this one and I was a little hesitant at first considering the ports on the side are different and the keyboard is a little different too. However, after having this computer for a couple of months now I could not imagine not switching. It is so much faster and I love how light it is. Everything works really well and the touch id is a great touch.

The redesigned MacBook Air is a beautiful machine! Ive owned several Pros over the years & was a bit hesitant to get the Air but I’m glad I did!
Its lightweight & portable, has excellent battery life, decent speaker quality, and a beautiful display... (although it could be a little brighter) I tend to upgrade every few years but I might hold on to this one.

First of all, I would like to thank our son for convincing us to join the Apple laptop family. A little over a year ago, my Toshiba Satellite laptop bit the big one. My son pleaded with me to take the plunge and buy a MacBook Air because I would love it. So, I did, Since everyone in our family owns iPhones the iOS format wasn't that hard to figure out. It took me about a week, maybe ten days, before I was a MacBook Air wizard. Fast forward to the last part of this past summer, and I was thinking about buying the newest version of my laptop as an Anniversary present for my wife. She still clung to her own Toshiba laptop and refused to let it go. That is until this beauty in Rose Gold came to the house via UPS. I explained to her that it WAS her anniversary present and that she should put her beloved Toshiba, complete with her constant complaining about Windows messing up again, to bed for good. I helped to transfer all her bookmarks and information from the PC to her new Mac, and set-up her homepage, and then she was off. This beauty is VERY light-weight, has an amazing display and works flawlessly with our iPhones. She tells me everyday how much she loves it, so I am her hero again!

After researching devices for school we settled on the MacBook Air and have not looked back. Slim, light, long battery life, secure, ease of use, flexibility and should not have to purchase another device for years. Yes, more expensive than other options - but we are willing to pay a little more once than have to repurchase another device in a couple of years.

I've never owned a Mac before, so there's a bit of a learning curve moving from Windows to Mac OS. The build quality is solid, and the lack of inputs doesn't bother me as much as I thought, especially if you use iCloud or other cloud storage. The keyboard takes some getting used to, but the Touch ID allows for a quick sign on process. I love how seamlessly Mac OS integrates with iOS, meaning I get messages as soon as they appear on my iPhone, and access webpages open on my iPhone or iPad. If you have an iDevice already, it makes sense to go with the MacBook, but I wish that Apple would allow for me to upgrade things such as RAM and storage without having to upgrade to a more expensive model.

At 1,000 dollars or less, this computer has tons of value. It’s solidly crafted, beautifully designed, and snappy once you get used to its UI. Perfect for throwing in your bag, doing some studying, browsing the web or watching videos and movies. If you seek power, looks towards a pro or the larger windows laptops like the LG Gram. Otherwise this is a great pickup.

I have been an iPhone and iPad user for years but never made the switch to Apple for my computer needs until now. I will say that the MacBook Air is exactly what I needed for syncing my workflow between devices. It allows me to do all of the work I need to do and to access it across devices. It has great battery life and is lightweight and compact.

I absolutely love my Macbook Air. It's been terrific while going to school as a finance major. It's lightweight, easily transportable, and does exactly what I need it to do, when I need it to do it. I thoroughly enjoy the display and the features it provides as I use all Apple products. It just makes sense if you're an avid Apple user.

It's a great office option, small, lightweight, and powerful enough for most tasks. The drawback is the lack of onboard ports, but that was known going in, so I can't complain too much.

I'll start off with a caveat - I've been an Apple fan for a long time. I have the full suite; iphone, ipad pro, older macbook, airpods. This latest iteration of the Macbook Air has been a great add!
Lightweight, portable, and still has the power I need to get my work done. I enjoy the new keyboard as well! Keep up the good work Apple.
