I have lately become a college student again and so I needed to get a new laptop. The last time I bought a laptop, Apple was still using Intel processors and the MacBook Air that I had for nearly 8 years was starting to get pretty slow. The new MacBook Air with the M3 chip is one of the the most beautiful computers I have ever seen. It is the perfect size and weight; 13.5” Retina display that is much improved over my prior Intel MacBook Air. I got the base configuration as I spoke with the sales rep at Apple section in my local Best Buy and he let me know that if I was not doing anything graphically intensive or gaming then the base configuration is fine. I won’t lie I was nervous buying a computer that cost this much only having 8 fbs of RAM but it has been perfect for my daily use without any issues or it is completely silent!!! There are no fans at all which is so nice as I can remember back in the day you knew when there was going to be a big computer slow down when the fans would kick on loudly, The battery life is also crazy for how much power this device provides while easily lasting twice as along as a Dell laptop with a 11 gen Intel Core i7 processor with 16 gbs of RAM. The MacBook also is made a million times better than the Dell and the user experience is night and day. If you are looking to get a computer that will last you at least a good 5 years and want something small and light and quiet that also is powerful than there is not a better computer on the market than this one.

It has been a great laptop. I find it easy to move and it gets what I need done. I use it for editing and school work!

My computer decided to die on me before a big trip and I was in a pinch to find something quickly and affordably that could meet my working needs. The team at Best Buy was fantastic, helpful, patient and informative. I ended up with a lap top that is not only light and sleek, but operates at the next level in speed, short cuts and efficiency. This computer is something else. It's no secret that nothing else on the market compares to M-series MacBooks, not even Snapdragon's new X elite chipset. This computer gets me through 2 whole days of school, 6-7 hours a day, on ONE charge. That's just plain absurd. The build quality is fantastic, the only thing that compares is the Microsoft Surface laptops and the Razer Blade lineup. This thing can handle multitasking with browser, excel, onenote, word, powerpoint open and barely even get warm, which is crazy when you consider this computer doesn't even have fans. I am docking a star because upgraded specs are way too expensive; 8GB of ram, even though MacOS manages it very well, for the price I paid of $850 and ESPECIALLY for the normal price of $1100 is not acceptable.

I'm currently a full time online student and also owning my own personal training brand. This MacBook has helped me tackle every task effectively and efficiently. It's sleek design and easy to use software is great for any student or small business owner.

Got for our daughter for college. So good. Let’s you edit pdf without needing adobe sub. Lots of great software and the hardware value is fantastic. Light. Fast! Sidecar to iPad. Screen is bright and gorgeous. Great keyboard. Fantastic trackpad. Overall just a great value. Hardware and software from same company is a win for a flushed out experience.
