After years of being a loyal PC & Linux user, I bought the 13in M2 MacBook pro to replace a 5 year old Thinkpad T480 I used for productivity (web browsing, email, editing large MS Word & Excel documents) and I've been incredibly impressed. If you want a productivity machine, this is a great buy around the $900-$1,000 mark. The build quality of the device is excellent, far better than the build quality of current commercial grade Lenovo and HP laptops. The device has a nice weight and thickness to it with smooth hinge operation. The keyboard is fantastic to type on, despite how low travel it is. Keys have a nice weight, tactile feel and decent sound. The keys are sized well for those of us with big fingers and well spaced. Coming from a PC & Linux machine, I like the light/touch bar. Especially in Microsoft Office Apps it provides convenient short cuts to frequently used items (like highlighting, bulleted lists and text alignment) that are hidden in the ribbon in the MAC OS version. Battery life is fantastic, so far for light productivity use I've been getting over 20 hours of use to a charge which is a game changer from the at-best 4hrs I would get out of 2 batteries in my Thinkpad. 8GB of ram as of OCT2023 seems to be more than enough for productivity needs in MACOS. Coming from a PC with 16gb of ram I don't notice any difference or slow downs. Having several tabs open in Firefox along with a Word and Excel document open only seems to use 4-5gb of RAM. That being said I bought this with the intent of replacing it in 2-3 years if I find I need more performance. Storage wise, 256gb is enough for me. The device had around 215gb free when I first booted it and I'm used using external hard disks for storage from my Linux and Windows days. The M2 CPU is snappy with apps that are optimized for Apple silicon. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and plan on buying another Apple laptop to replace this when the time is right. That being said this is a secondary device for me and I have both a gaming rig PC and my old Thinkpad to use for my Windows and Linux applications. But as a primary productivity machine, this is a fantastic device.

Bought this for my daughter. She LOVES it. Light weight & thin. Easy to handle! It is fast & the touch bar is a great addition! Can't go wrong getting one!

Of all the Macbooks I have had in the past, this one is by far the fastest and most powerful. The display is sharp, the keys have just the right tactile feedback, and the trackpad is bigger and more responsive than previous models. My only complaint is the lack of accessory ports, but I've found this to be an issue on other high-end laptops as well, and is easily remedied by third-party accessories that offer standard USB 3.0 and SD slots. Overall, a great purchase, and at a very rare time when Apple products were on sale.

Love the design and how light weight it is love the long battery life. Also the Touch Bar is amazing!

I like my MacBook Pro M2 laptop computer. It is super fast for multi-tasking, and the battery stays long. I study on my MacBook computer for about 10 hours and don't have eye strain. I can type quickly on the keyboard, and the touch bar helps me choose the correct word for my essay. This is necessary for college students and people who do daily computer work. I also purchased a TotalTech membership for Apple Care+ and an in-store consult/repair. I am very happy with my purchase at Best Buy.

Love my laptop!! Everything about it, battery life, speed, ease of use, size is all perfect!

I bought this Apple Laptop for my wife and she loves it. The key board is really smooth and barely feels like there’s a keyboard there. Battery life is really good she tried it for hours and Barry drained any percentage. Also talk about speed, it’s really fast and responsive. Loading up or downloading files works like a champ! So many more really good fixtures but I will run out of characters if I continue also it’s really light.

Absolutely love the MacBook Pro 13” M2 with the touch bar! This is my first MacBook and my only regret is that I hadn’t gotten one sooner. It is sleek and slim so it fits in my backpack and lightweight so it isn’t a hassle to carry around with me everywhere. The battery life is amazing as well. Over all, no complaints 10/10!!

Favorite laptop of all time. This is my third MacBook Pro 13" purchase and nothing will beat it. Fast processing, relatively good battery life, a lot of storage, extremely easy display and navigation, the list goes on and on. Would definitely recommend, especially if you need a laptop for school or working from home!

This is a great computer; it is efficient, a good size, and has cool features. The image quality and resolution are awesome. There is a fingerprint ID that works well and makes it easy and fast to sign in. This is a big larger than my old Macbook Air, which I like. The speed is also great and it has a long battery life.

I have bought this laptop for drawing to replace my rather old PC. It turned out to be a perfect combination of speed, reliability, screen quality and price. 8 GB RAM may be not perfect for heavy lifting like Photoshop or 3d rendering, but enough for Clip Studio Paint or editing videos smoothly. At first I was hesitant about it having 8gh of RAM, but it ended up being more efficient than my older PC with 16GB of RAM. I had no problems with this laptop yet, and it's battery life and general energy consumption is remarkable. The screen is vivid and bright, very helpful for tuning images for printing. Overall, it's light, efficient, great for light graphic work and easy to carry around.

I'm very happy with this laptop. My first Apple laptop was a MacBook, in 2008. This is my third Macbook Pro. (I also use an old Lenovo Ideabook 430T.) I use this MacBook Pro 13.3 for research and writing. This MacBook Pro M2 is light, easy to use, and the battery lasts well. It is worth the money.

my son needed a powerful chip, great battery life, and compact sized laptop for his Comp Sci class. Boy did this meet his needs! Loves it and raves about how quiet and cool it runs compared to intel MacBook his older brother tried to pass down! Nice job Apple - again! Only wish - more ports....
