Always have loved Apple computers and I upgraded from a 2010 MacBook Pro to this latest version and can definitely see a difference in not only the speakers but the visuals and the fast response. I searched for a new laptop for quite a while and was between this version and the brand new one that came out. The amount of storage is very nice for a 1tb and the touch bar and display as well as performance speed are definitely an upgrade. However, the only thing I hate is the keys. The keyboard easily gets dust, dirt, and debris inside which makes it impossible to remove as well as my fingerprint residue (despite how much you clean your hands) show visibly on the keys. Because of this when you go to close the computer and open it back up it leaves smudges on the screen when you open it back up. The buttons get stuck from time to time from the debris getting trapped and its not easily removal with an air can. As well as this, the computer is much more sensitive to drops compared to my old MacBook Pro where I feel like you could drop that thing on concrete and it would barely damage the material. (would not recommend) but nothing that a case didn't solve. Overall, I'd give it a 4.0 out of 5 but would definitely recommend purchasing a case, dont eat around it, and clean frequently.

I loved my mid-2012 MacBook Pro but with all the new upgrades and technology, I haven't upgraded my computer from Sierra - I didn't want to lose some of the software compatibility but I definitely needed a new computer. I didn't want the 15" as it would be too big to schlep around - but I also wanted the i7 - it states on here that I bought an i5 but my computer is an i7. It was a late model 2019 which I didn't know when I bought it - thinking I was buying a 2020 model - that should have been stated to me but it wasn't - it appears the new 2020 does not come in an i7 processor and I did get a good deal on it with a number of discounts -- and I felt with all the graphics and music and editing I do, I needed an i7 - in fact, my older MacBook was an i7. So even though I raised concerns about not being told that this was a 2019 model - I spoke to the manager of the computer dept at Best Buy and he told me the butterfly keyboard on this model was better (even though they did away with it in the 2020 model) because the late-year 2019 had raised the keys and made it feel like a real keyboard (that was a concern of mine, that if it was him. he would choose the i7 over an i5 and other than the keyboard - there wasn't a whole lot of difference between the 2 years. Well, I decided to keep it for the i7 and am very happy with the performance of it so far. It's a bit upgrade from a 2012 but also an easy transition.

Love my MacBook pro. The only issue I am having is in regards to memory. I wish I would have gotten one with more memory. Overall this computer is great. Light weight, great for travel.

I love this computer. The keyboard is much easier to type on than my older Macbook Pro. I love the touch bar which is customizable to add the buttons that you frequently use. The fingerprint security is great to make online purchases fast and easy. I use this computer for work where I am frequently working with several very large files at the same time. It works fast, never lags. I also love that with iCloud, I can work on a document on both my laptop and my iPad and it saves and updates to the other device seamlessly. I'm so glad that I went with computer!

After trying out the 2020 MacBookPro 13 with the 10th gen i5 processor with 16GB LPDDR4X DRAM and 1TB SSD that had the great keyboard, I decided to return it due to too much heat been generated even while sitting idle with no processes running. Ended up ordering the older 2019 version with the i7 processor and 1TB SSD 16GB LPDDR3 DRAM, the keyboard is the 2nd generation keyboard which is not great, but the laptop itself does not overheat. The better throttling of the QuadCore i7 or the lower heat been generated by the slower LPDDR3 DRAM keeps the laptop cool and comfortable to use. it's strange since the 10th gen i5 is supposedly a lower feature size process so should generate less heat, same goes for the LPDDR4X which clocks higher but is also supposed to be a smaller feature sized.

Love my new Mac laptop. It’s very user friendly and fast. The 13 inch is great and fits in my bag easily.

Brilliant display and long battery life. Enjoy all my Apple products. Great portability.

So far so great! I am loving this upgrade from my 2012 MacBook Pro. The picture is exceptionally clear and I haven’t received any delay in opening larger applications or DAWs like Pro Tools. Love the fact that it has more storage and 4 lightening ports.

This model is 2019 not 2020. Speed is really impressive. Touch bar is new for me, not easy to do at first time. Better check the manual of it. Screen is perfect. You see almost every detail. Wi-Fi connection is also fast. The best feature that I like is, weight. It is so light and portable. I didn't know that the apple MacBook like that before.

First time using a MacBook Pro, switching over from a windows OS. So far so good, the learning curve is not to bad, but I love the speed of this system. 16 GB of memory and 1TB SSD offers more that enough speed and storage for my simple needs.

Works great. FANTASTIC MACHINE! I purchased the core i7, 16GB,, 1TB and it was a BEAST! I returned it and I'm buying the core i7, 32GB, 512GB SSD for software design and engineering!

Computer works well. New tool bar takes some getting used to - mainly use old functions and forgo use of this tool. Having no USB ports without an adapter also is different and requires more prep to ensure you always have an adapter to charge your phone or use other external devices. I dislike apple changing the charging cords so your old cords become obsolete on new devices. It seems they should remain consistent to benefit customers who are loyal to apple and have older charging cords that are now incompatible. The price point is too high on extra charging cords and they often stop working. Device works well.

Well well well. This was what I needed at the time I purchased it, and it went far and veyond tbe call.of duty! Very good Mac Book, very durable, no glotches anywhere whatsoever, never had a problem!

My daughter needed a new laptop for her classes and this is what she wanted. She loves it! Fast, easy to carry with her, and plenty of memory.

So far, this laptop is working like a dream! It is VERY fast in doing all of the things that I work on in a normal business day. I also love the task bar - really cool tool.

This is the first non-Windows based computer I've purchased and it has not disappointed! I'd made the switch-over to iPhone since 2015, so the cross-device integrations (e.g. Messages, Notes, etc) are great for accessibility to the apps without having to do them via phone. The Touch Bar is a nice convenience feature that extends shortcuts and functionality for the app in use. While transitioning from one platform to another always requires a learning-curve, most functions are relatively intuitive and are otherwise easily found via Apple Support articles.

Speedy! This Mac is fast out the gate. Quick startups and fast searching. So far no issues with performance and great for what I need it for

This is my first Mac and I thought I would have trouble with it, but I love it. So easy to use and very fast. I've always had pc's until now.

This is the first Mac product I’ve ever bought, I was tired of my old dell windows 10. It’s a learning curve going to MacBook but it’s easy so far. It’s lightning fast compared to windows, the windows programs I’ve used are available on Mac if you search them.
