This laptop is suped up. It goes fast and has more than enough security features to make even the most paranoid user feel safe. Plus the sleek design just makes it look like a muscle car.

We purchased this MacBook, but when my son realized that the 15” had more processing power, the bigger screen, and went on sale $300 cheaper than the 13”, we returned this one. We had to customize the 13”, when it was all standard in the 15”. If you need the smaller size, then it would be fine

This is my first MacBook though I've assembled and upgraded Windows Desktops for a decade and have owned Laptops prior. The build quality and feeling in hands is amazing and unrivaled. The 13" model is ideal for those who also own a desktop. Perfect size. The Touch Bar is actually useful and fun to use, though some power users may rely on physical F-keys. I like using the Touch ID instead of entering passwords, and if you're not suer how to spell a strange word the Touch Bar is a nice cheat code completing words. Brightness and volume sliders are nice of course. The SSD is arguably the nicest feature with the MBPs. It's incredibly fast; 3 gb/s read and over 2gb/s write. That's out of the park when compared to any other laptop SSD's available and 10x faster than my Samsung desktop SSD. With the i7 quad and 16gb ram this machine should last a very long time. It doesn't stutter ever. Great keyboard- I find myself typing very quickly and comfortable. Screen is GORGEOUS and crisp. Mac OS is great for my daily use. I'm an iPhone user so it pairs very well. Additionally, Mac OS includes software to set up Dual Boot with windows which seamlessly allows me to use the MacBook also as a Windows Laptop when I need. Macbook is expensive but worth it.
