Go for the 15”
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent display. Incredible speed. TouchBar is an amazing addition and very useful. The larger size is well worth the extra money!

the right decision for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I knew I wanted the 2018 MacBook Pro w/touch bar. The hard decision was size. At the store, I placed the 13" over the 15" only to see that the incremental increase in overall size was very small...but the increase in screen size was huge. In short, the 15" is just as portable to me as the 13". Also, the 15" has the i7 processor vs. the i5 in the 13". Finally, the 15" has internal components that are "upgradable" should it be necessary in the future whereas the 13" is not. To me, the 15" was the right decision for the additional cost. I mated it with the LG 27" WFHD IPS ULTRAFINE 5K MONITOR. Wow; love the set-up. Don't forget a few essential adaptors for the Thunderbolt ports. After a month of use...I am happy with my decision, Best Buy's price, and service.

Never using another computer
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this computer after going back to college. I was going to use the computer mostly for school work and for occasional fun such as movies, and games. When going in the agent helped out by telling me all the details about each of the models. I chose the larger screen because it would let me work on multiple things at once. For my first Mac I am so happy I went with this model. It is able to help me out with many things such as doing school work to even watching Netflix on my down time. I never have issues with this computer compared to when I owned a windows computer. I purchased it with the Microsoft Office for Mac as well as the insurance which I am glad I did. It will take you a minute to get used to it but you can get used to it fairly quickly. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a kid going to college or even for leisure use.

Great deal for a great laptop!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer packs a lot of punch. I was surprised at just house fast it is — especially while running Adobe design programs (Photoshop / InDesign / Illustrator / etc). I decided on the 15” MacBook Pro based on the bigger screen size and the fact that it’s supposedly better for video editing. The retina screen is simply stunning and love the ease of use with the Touch Bar. No complaints — especially with the awesome $200 discount that Best Buy offered!

Perfect for college
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Starting my PhD meant that I needed a reliable laptop that’s easy to use, and the macbook pro always comes through. This model is much better than the previous with the butterfly switches - I haven’t had any issues typing with any keys. I prefer the 15” to have more screen space to work. I bought a 2TB external harddrive to keep all of my school work on the side. This laptop runs great, even larger programs like Photoshop.

Exactly What We Needed in a Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were in the market for a new laptop and were unsure on brand, model, or really any details about laptop buying. We had a great experience with the workers at Best Buy and they helped us find the perfect match for us based on our needs! We do a lot of photo editing, which the MacBook Pro has great applications for. We've downloaded several videos and apps on the laptop already and the download speed is so quick! We were also very impressed with the picture quality of the laptop while watching videos! We are comfortable with Apple products already so it made for a smooth transition into using this laptop. It's lightweight enough to not be a burden to travel with, and has a good size screen for still being so compact! The AppleCare option is also a must I would say! It covers almost everything that could possibly go wrong and there is a free battery replacement included in the purchase within the first three years. Overall, we are very happy and very pleased with our choice and the help that we received from the Best Buy team!

Elegant, durable, and powerful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The aluminum body is light, sturdy and stunning. The Retina display which is roughly equivalent to 3K resolution is absolutely gorgeous. The touch bar is ingenious and greatly improves workflow. Mac OS is intuitive and an absolute pleasure to use. The keyboard is great. Battery life is good, and this machine can handle Starcraft 2 like a champ. Don’t settle for anything less than a 2018 MacBook Pro. Do yourself a favor and get one today.

Almost perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the Touch Bar. The speed of the system is unsurpassed. Coming from a MacBook Pro that lasted 9 years, this was An exciting upgrade. The only thing I felt indifferent about is the type C charger slots. Gone are the USB and old ports for internet and memory cards. No CD player as well. I guess we’re moving forward when it comes to technology. A bit pricy but if it’s going to last as long or maybe longer than my last one then it’s probably worth it. And one last thing before I forget. This works really well with the Apple TV especially in hotel rooms since the Bluetooth capability takes care of the casting without the Apple TV connecting to the hotel WiFi. Maybe the previous versions did that too but it took me this long to see this capability.

Awesome Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer is fast, reliable, the battery life is amazing and the Touch Bar is an awesome feature to compete with Microsoft touch screen computer without having to fingerprint your screen. The keyboard is a little difficult to adjust to from my old 2013 model MacBook Pro but is better for faster typing once you get used to it. A great purchase and I am sure it will last me a good 6-10 years with proper care.

Great size for multitasking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went with this product because it had the bigger screen since I already have an iPad and the smaller size is only 2 inches bigger than my iPad. What I love is that this size allows for multitasking without having to minimize everything. The battery life is long.. The touch bar is convenient once you get used to it having it there and remembering to look and see what comes up.

Almost perfect.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything screams and feels premium from this laptop. From the screen, to the keyboard(which I dislike but have gotten used to) to the opening of the laptop. I got his after having to return TWO Dell XPS's due to QC issues and I needed something for school and life. The main drawbacks are cost and being unable to upgrade RAM or the SSD.

Beware the FaceTime Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: I like most of the laptop. The speed and graphics are exactly what I expected. This is the first MBP I have purchased with touch bar replacing the function keys. I have liked its flexibility for the current app I am working in. Cons: I am still getting used to the tactile feel of the keyboard. It is a completely different feeling from past keyboards. My biggest complaint is the FaceTime camera. It is extremely grainy looking and is actually a poorer quality than my 2013 MBP. Sadly, all of my searches about this issue show the same issue for everyone buying a new MBP.

AMAZING Laptop!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Laptop is ridiculously fast. No problems so far. I returned the 2017 version since I bought it like 2 weeks ago to get this one and I am not regretting it at all. The screen with the true tone is beautiful and the battery seems better, but that could just be me. Loving IT!!!

It just couldn’t get better!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I need to preface this by saying that I am NOT a power user, and that I DO NOT need an i7 processor or the graphics card that this little guy packs into this sleek package, but I love having both! I was looking for a 2020 MacBook Air when I stumbled upon this Open Box beauty for only $100 more than a MBA. The screen is brilliant, the processor is fast, and the keyboard... is okay. This editor’s dream charges quickly with the 87 watt charger, and the battery lasts me (again, not a power user) two to three days on a single charge. I simply LOVE using this laptop. It is a HUGE upgrade over my 2013 13” MBP. Real Talk: The laptop does get warm when you are working it, but I never had any issues with it getting too hot. Additionally, I’m a big guy that chucks this laptop in my backpack and I don’t think twice about the weight, but if you are small, this could become heavy when commuting. This will now be my laptop/desktop for the foreseeable future.

Great for professional use, bad for personal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Requires a lot of add ons but that is with any mac, it is really expensive as well but for professional use (graphic design), bad for personal use because it takes awhile to get used to mac navigation vs PC navigation. I had to buy the adapter for the USB to the mac port and memory card to mac port because it doesn't come with those. I also hate that it does not come with a disk reading system. I dislike all the additional costs to operate it as well, you have to pay for iCloud storage and I was forced to re buy Microsoft office, which was expensive and annoying. But when it comes to processing speed it's amazing, the battery doesn't last as long as I would like but it is nice and lightweight. I also dislike that it will overheat if placed on a flat surface. I love the screen resolution and how efficiently it runs complex applications like the Adobe creative cloud. Very hard to navigate if you are switching from a PC, also difficult to operate without watching the videos on it, so I would not reccomend for someone not tech savvy.

Perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer is beautifully designed and thinner than I thought it was going to be. It definitely feels like a premium product as it should do. -Performance is great. It is very fast and breezes through everyday computing like browsing the web and using MS Office/ iWork with no effort at all.

Excellent computer though heavy and expensive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm writing my review on the 15" MacBook Pro. I really like this laptop. The screen and keyboard are very good. I actually like the Touch Bar for the most part. The only problem for me is I keep accidentally touching the part of the bar that opens Siri when I'm reaching for the delete key. I wish it were a little lighter in weight but it is a solid machine. It charges quickly and holds a charge for at least a day with regular use. It was quite expensive but Best Buy matched a lower price that I found on Amazon.

EXCELLENT LAPTOP FAST + SMART
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's an excellent alternative to a large desktop computer. Has great screen real-estate and a memory bar, so I don't have to type in the same old, same old. It memorizes things I do often, websites I visit, personal information, etc. It's a nice addition. Processor is the best part though.

great computer for making the switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used PCs all my life and after much debate I decided to take the plunge into a MAC. I am not a fan boy, but I understand why they are so much more expensive than a regular PC laptop. 1. The experience. Internet, APPS, and use. The experience is much better, websites and programs that cater to iOS have a better feel, you can use different gestures to navigate and much more. 2. ease of use, there are more things you can do on a mac that are easier to function than those on a PC, for example, you can take a screen shot of an area , a window, multiple windows, or desktop, instead of getting a screen shot and taking it to paint and cutting it and saving it like on windows. 3. the product feels very nice, it's light, the DISPLAY IS BEAUTIFUL. I have a 4k acer, this mac destroys the screen in terms of beauty. 4. THE BATTERY!!!!!!... OH MY ... BATTERY LIFE , I was on netflix for 7 hours on one charge.. amazing. 5. performance, it's snappy, responsive, and if you have an iphone youll be familiar.
