You are looking for validation to justify your purchase, or you are doing research because you are ready to spend big bucks on a nice machine and don’t want your investment to go to waste. (Am I in the ballpark?) I was there not too long ago and I was definitely in the ‘i really hope it’s worth it’ category. It does everything I need it to do productivity wise. I do not tax it like your average consumer, but it hasn’t struggled to serve up a single app to date. The closest this baby came to hiccuping based on use was me raising the rendering distance to 81 on Minecraft, and maxing out the resolution for the lols. Yes, this baby can run Minecraft at max settings with insanely high render distance on. No, I wouldn’t say it should be run at specs the ps5 / newest Xbox could only dream of. Now, with that in mind.. you know that office products, email, web and other simple tasks are a piece of cake. A lot of artists and videographers like using the device for editing, rendering, and transferring myriad large files on any given day. If that is you, I recommend you grab a m2, even the base with 32mb unified ram will be quite swift and blaze through demanding apps. Finally, the screen is as gorgeous as you would expect from a high end MacBook Pro, size is great for a desktop replacement and minimal to moderate travel. If you need something more portable for daily use, or want to have it on your lap all the time while at home, this may not be the one for you. If that describes you, check out the 14 inch m2 with similar stats, maybe bump up the ram and you will not regret the purchase. Overall, this thing can fly.. so glad I pulled the trigger and I’m sure you will be glad you did too!

This is without a doubt the best, most powerful and visually stunning laptop for artist both graphic and fine art with anything from Adobe Photoshop to Escape Motion's Rebelle 6 which is extremely resource intensive as it replicates in real time the actual physics of live watercolors in process. Together with and iPad Pro for drawing surface this is hands down the only way to go! I can't wait for the new next generation iPad Pro to come out and work in tandem with this truly powerhouse for a virtual artist studio!

I've been wanting a Mac for so long, coming from having all pc's. The 16" screen size, the extra-long battery life, fast speed, its sleekness, the touch to open option and the backlit keyboard is a win. The only negative thing is that I did not realize that it does not come with a usb connection. Initially, I was so disappointed, but found an adapter at Best Buy with several other useful ports, so I was totally happy after that.

Too bad BestBuy doesn’t carry the 64GB RAM variant. I have no issues pushing this beast of a machine to its limits. I put it through its paces for data wrangling tasks, Lightroom editing and running Python scripts and selenium automation jobs. CPU is top notch, no doubt about it. Not a hiccup. Managed to max RAM usage, swap is fast as well so no noticeable issues. Overall, if you are making money using a machine like this, it is a no-brainer.

MacBook Pro Review – 4/5 The MacBook Pro is an incredibly powerful machine with outstanding performance and top-tier build quality. The display is stunning, the keyboard is comfortable, and the overall experience feels premium. Whether for professional workloads or creative tasks, it handles everything effortlessly. However, I encountered an issue with the battery/charging, which suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason—at the worst possible time. Given the MacBook’s reputation and price, this was disappointing. While it may be an isolated issue, it’s frustrating when reliability is expected. Overall, it’s a fantastic laptop, but potential charging concerns hold it back from a perfect rating.

Best investment ever. Coming from windows to Mac it has been such a pleasure. Fast, reliable, performance driven, processing time is very minimal, handles graphic design software with no issues at all, I can run multiple apps at the same time and still enough power to run.

It’s everything I wanted. The screen and the display are phenomenal. Ive Ben a PC person all my life. Since I have an iPad and an iPhone I decided to go Apple across the board. I am NOT sorry I did. The ease and user interaction are more than I could ima. I know I’m praising this a lot. But, it deserves every accolade.

Went from a Razer PC to this for my mobile workstation. As a professional Videographer and Photographer I was amazed at its ability to maintain battery life while editing. I have a fully Spec'd Mac Studio for my desktop and this MBP does fantastic for being so portable. Color accuracy on the screen also was on point.

I do a lot of mobile video editing and can say I am truly impressed. I have never felt confident editing on just battery power before but this computer doesn't even break a sweat. My old 2019 i9 MacBook pro would sound like a jet taking off just opening a Chrome tab and the battery did not last nearly as long. I use Adobe Premiere and it seems to run a lot better than it does on my PC. I think one of my favorite things about this computer is how fast it wakes from sleep and the battery doesn't really drain when you have the lid closed and computer packed away.

It works, It's quick moving and not as bulky as I expected. The additional screen space is nice unlike my old MacBook Pro. It is also fast charging.

Super dope machine. Feel fully covered with Best Buy's total tech program membership. 15 years doing work on Macs. First time NOT buying a Mac product from Apple and the process, financing and convenience has been seamless. The computer screams! We're happy campers to be able to work on intensive post production projects on the road!! Will do it again in the future.

Excellent product! Apple continues to make outstanding laptops. The last MacBook Pro I purchased was in 2010. It has lasted all these years but unfortunately, very slow and limited space for running the current software applications. It is amazing how fast this new MacBook Pro is.

Fastest computer I’ve ever owned. You get what you pay for. Intel and AMD don’t come close. Apple makes Hardware, Software, and Chip. They work seamlessly together. And flawlessly with an iPhone
