Needed it to hook up a 23" touch screen to my Mac Mini and did the job. Sure their might be cheaper ones out there that are off brand, but went ahead and just got the Mac one as we were getting everything else that night. Quick easy way to convert mini display port to DVI to plug in just about any monitor.
