I bought this when I needed to connect my MacBook Air to my LG monitor. Works for me.

Given Apple's proprietary connectors, it is wise to consider picking up several accessories to allow the computer to interface with other devices---in this case a Sony HD TV.

I needed this and there were a few different options, but wish the cable section between the connections was longer so I could clean up the look of the laptop sitting on my desk. Currently it shows the connection between this and the DVI cable and because of the length that connection is sitting on my desktop.

No issue - Seems to be well made. I would expect nothing less from Apple.

I’m not entirely sure if it’s the product, or the way I have things set up, but the DVI seems to lose signal a lot more than it should. I find that I have to unplug it, then plug it back into my MacBook Pro every so often when the MacBook/monitor has been idle a while. Kind of annoying, but when it works it works fine.

Perfect adapter to hook up second or third monitor to iMac. I was lucky enough to get this as an open box and save a few bucks. It is worth the full price to add additional monitors to the iMac.

Tried a knock off product first, because it cost less, but it wouldn't fit without forcing it into the designated slot. The Apple device, while costing more, worked like a charm.

Working with graphics and video editing on a daily basis from my work-at-home setup this is a required piece of hardware to get the most reliable and quickest on screen response.

Able to use external monitor with Macbook Air 2013. Macbook Air needs to be plugged in and able to close lid and use external monitor with DVI cable from monitor to adapter.

I'm very pleased that Best Buy carries Apple products which saves me the hassle of traveling the distance to the Apple Store. The product works as it is intended to; small and compact.

We tested a couple of different makes for the adapters, Apple make good products but the mark up can be a little steep. Still a great adapter

Incredibly easy setup to add my existing monitor to my new iMac Air laptop. Highly recommended so you do not have to stare into a 13" screen for work all day.

Staff was kind enough to test my Apple-to-External Monitor Dongle, finding it defective. I bought a new one, and am now happily connected!
