Remote works great and is easy to connect. The Apple wrist cord does not come with it even though the pictures show one.

My old remote was broken so this is a great replacement. I’ve had no problems.

I had to buy this remote because the original one that came with the AppleTV shattered. The touch pad is very fragile and, unless you have all padded or carpeted floors, will break easily in a single drop. They make protective covers but none were available in the store where I bought this replacement remote, so hopefully it lasts longer than the original. Unfortunately, unless you add a non-standard remote, or use the AppleTV app on your phone, this is the only choice. I don't particularly like the idea of making my TV or BD remote become the AppleTV remote since it needs to control those devices, and the phone app is only good for the person who owns the phone. Too bad Apple couldn't make a more durable remote than this one.
