If your system supports eARC, just use this remote to power everything on, and toggle the volume and turn off-its amazing. This is now an extra as I've found the one I lost (it was on the windowsill!) I've dropped many times-still works perfectly-but I decided to buy a case for it anyway!

I prefer the silver Apple remote - a bit more control on the search and press. I wasn’t aware the silver remote was also compatible. I bought this to replace the original misplaced remote. I wish I just bought the silver remote - cheaper and more direct.
