This is my third AppleTV, having had both of the previous generations. I love the ability to have APPS. I love I can play games on it. I have a few gripes, no 4k support which is really a shame, and the remote is not as easy to figure out which way is up as compared to the previous ones.

Very excited about the new Apple TV and the voice/Siri function. The new generation Apple TV performs well and fast. My only complaint is like many others with an apple product is the limited access on aps. Amazon Video and Flixster Video are not supported on Apple TV and are on other platforms.

New features! Siri!! With the iPhone remote app still worked :(. Remote app on Apple Watch does work though!!

I had an original Apple TV and decided it was time to upgrade. I've been impressed since day one. The performance is so smooth and I LOVE being able to add more apps than previous versions.

Love it. The new remote is great. Really like that it switches your tv input as soon as you touch the remote.

It works like it should - a bit pricey compared to other competitors. But it is an Apple product after all...

Very easy to use, and fast without lag times like you get with other streaming devices. The only problem is it does not stream 4K so I use this unit in my bedroom for a non 4K TV. I will have to wait until Apple comes out with a 4K capable version to buy one for my UHD 4K living room TV.

Works great. Nice to have the ability to watch other shows now. Only complaint is it isn’t 4K.

Good for people who are ok with limited options. Doesn't replace cable

I bought this model Apple TV because I like Air Play Mirroring - the immediate display of everything from my iPhone and iPad to my TV, pixel-for-pixel. This it does very well. The rest of the features seem nice. I do have to mark off 1 Star because this new version of Apple TV omitted the Digital Audio outbound port that is so useful. There are workarounds but it's a bit of a hassle. All-in-all, very nice if you are an Apple-based household like mine.

I had a Smart TV that just wasn't connecting to all the various Apps. So now I can watch my favorite TV shows and Netflix and HBO and Showtime, etc. etc. etc. but the best part is I can just take this and plug it into any TV that has an HDMI port when I travel. I especially like the remote and using Siri.

The Apple TV is great, it does everything it's stated and just like its previous version, it's always getting better. A more " luxury" item over its competitors and a great user interface. However I do not like that it cannot view 4k content. Even the 30.00 alternative has that ability. Maybe it's something that can be patched in the future but from what I've researched, it will not be done. Which means Apple will be making a new one in the future to support 4k. If you have a previous version of Apple TV, this product refresh isn't groundbreaking and not worth the cost. I would skip this generation if you're looking for a way to view 4k content such as Netflix and Hulu. I would reccomend it for users who just love the Apple brand products and do not want it to be your main media component. Also buyer beware. It doesn't have an optical output. So if your wanting to use an older surround sound receiver, you may need to invest in a hdmi to optical converter.

Having an App Store helps with options. I still wish there was more of a TV connection aspect of the unit but who knows of Apple will ever go that route. It was a nice update from the older models and glad to see an update to the remote. Cannot wait to see what comes next in their updates.

Apple AirPlay is really the only feature that I was looking for and this product is able to deliver that service. Other than that, this product is way overpriced. This is especially true if you have a smart TV of which should already offer over 95% of the features of an Apple TV.

I upgraded to this Apple TV so that I could use my AirPods when I watch Apple TV. Nice to have Siri to help find what you want and easy to connect your iPhone or iPod as a remote.

This is probably the best product that Apple makes. It is very easy to use and never have any issue streaming anything. Easy to hook up to wifi and start watching Netflix, ESPN, etc.

Apple continues to make improvements that ease product use, especially leveraging voice commands via Siri.

The upgrade on this remote is really cool. It has the Siri feature. Which lets you control by talking. This is a great option for watching favorite shows on WIFI. I want one for every TV

Awesome device it runs 10 times faster than the last model as voice-activated easier to use has more apps easy installation everybody should have one they wouldn't have to go movies no more

My first experience with Apple TV wasn't good. My parents had purchased one a few years ago. It was an original model, naturally, and they had wanted something to show pictures on their TV from their iPad. Great concept! But it was SLOW and nearly dysfunctional. Granted, this could have been an issue with their iPad or even their WIFI, but it was bad. However, technology progresses and I'd heard good things so I took a chance on this 32G model. Wow it's pretty cool! Mine is set up WIFI and there is no latency at all, even with my router being 30 feet down a hall and around the corner. It's fast. It integrates with all my other iDevices, and the Bluetooth really makes it device-friendly. You can hook keyboards, mice if you like... I did give it four stars and not five because I wish it would come with a keyboard. The remote is killer, but using it to type is a pain. The voice commands are nice but a keyboard would be icing for me. I would definitely recommend this little guy to anyone.
