Great device. Love Siri, but App development not so far along and pricey

I was a fan of the original and had it until it started getting temperamental in streaming. The upgrade is great and it's nice that instead of viewing all the potential options inside its menu, that it can be customized with apps I actually use. The Siri feature and voice dictation really make it much easier to search than its predesesor. The remote is the only concern due to its glass track pad but I was aware of it prior to purchasing and ordered a silicone cover for it that has resolved the potentiality of damage due to it being dropped.

Very satisfied with 4th Gen Apple tv, much better than 3rd Gen, very sophisticated remote control, easy navigation, excellent quality picture.

The games from AppStore are pretty fluid. They add a nice touch - simple games with good graphics and motion based remote like Wiimote. Using Siri to skip AirPlay video ads, go forward and go backward are super awesome! Using Siri to search for flicks on Netflix is awesome too. I think it is a nice upgrade. Lacking 4K is a bummer, got a star knocked for the reason.

Love the new TVOs! I dunno but everything appears sharper and video has great clarity. I had the previous generation and this is a very nice upgrade.

Netflix and games work really well. Sling tv still doesn't have an app.

Was using a PS3 and considering a PS4 for increased performance, but was offput by the price and lack of compatibility with my Logitech Harmony 700 remote. The Apple TV 4 now has a PS Vue App which works very well. The only feature not supported by my Logitech 700 is the commercial skip feature for which you must use the included remote or the iPone/iPad App. Rumors on the internet allege that you cannot power down the ATV4 with the Logitech, but that is not true. Simply access the Settings App and select "Sleep Now" ;-)

Tired of playing monthly premium for cable subscription. Currently living in an older home with no ability to increase cable outlets without paying thru the roof and opening up walls. Apple TV was the answer to get programing thru the internet.

I was kind of skeptical. The new Apple TV was much more expensive than the old one it replaced. However, after plaign with it for a few days, I am absolutely in love with it. The touchpad gets some used to, but it's hard to imagine not having it.

This is an improvement over the original AppleTV. I am still not ready to cut my cable TV cord, but it does offer nice alternative programming as long as your Internet connection is a good one. A direct Ethernet connection is better than WiFi.

I enjoy the new Apple TV. I really like the new remote. The last one was nothing but problems. Really a bad design. This one is much better. Plus, you can download apps now and play games.

More features than the older versions of Apple tv, same great product

This product is a huge upgrade over the previous Apple TV. The processor is much quicker. It gives you the ability to choose which apps you want on your home screen. This is a HUGE upgrade over the old Apple TV. Strongly approve this product.

I bought this fir my daughter in college. I had to ask her how to use it. Very hi tech for me. Not sure other 50+ parents will like the change. I like a menu and buttons not fancy mouse like remotes. My daughter loves it tho.

Nice product connecting apple devices to work together, offered a way for my laptop to connect. Offers more apps, very easy setting up, good product if your wanting to whittle down cable bill. Gave this a 4 I'm not a big Apple fan.

I own a Apple TV (2nd gen.). I liked it a lot and bought a second one for another TV set up. When we decided to 'cut the cable' and use antenna and one of the streaming devices, I studied all of the brands. I still liked the Apple TV and what it offered the best. I had hoped that generation 5 would come out before I was ready to purchase, but it didn't; however, I will be able to upgrade my 4th gen to the 5th when it does come out. With the Gen 2 Apple TV, you cannot add any apps, but the 4th you can. It has worked out very well.

Good choice.. great storage. Easy setup - directions are pretty good.

Love the new Siri integration, wish there was no storage like the 3rd gen. Also better remote otherwise love it more then the 3rd generation.

I have Roku but I needed to be able to watch movies or just surf the Internet on my tv. Apple TV works for that. For karaoke I got great speakers for my smart tv then used screen mirroring to pull the karaoke songs from my computer to the tv screen. That worked really well. I don't know what else Apple TV can do but for what I needed it for, it works really well
