I waited until the New Apple TV with App Store to release before I considered cancelling Satelite. I got the 64gb version for our main TV and used the App Store to customize it while I kept DTV to test the waters. After a successful test run I decided to buy the 32gb for my other TV, cancelled Satelite and haven't looked back. IMHO this streaming box is the best on the market. It auto sets up your tv as soon as you plug it in and if you are an iPhone user it automatically takes all your network settings from your phone to finish the job. Super stupid simple to set up. The apps are great all the local/world news I want and free tv apps that fill out the rest of your entertainment. With all the apps, along with, Showtime, HBO Now, Netflix and Hulu I barely remember what it was like to channel surf before. Oh, and Siri voice search is REALLY awesome.

Apple Tv is a grteat improvment over the older models downloading aoos is a synch and easy every thing works flawlessly canty wait to see apple develop more apps for this new toy I hoe some day to say good bye to cable providers Do you hear me Apple

This Gen 4 Apple TV is the most refined streaming box/stick I have used (compared namely to a Roku and ChromeCast). The setup out of the box was the easiest setup. Connected to wifi with no hitch and connected to other Apple devices effortlessly (iPad and iPhones). The Siri voice commands worked well and configuring the device was simple. If you already use Apple devices you will have a minimal learning curve. For those that do not use Apple, you will still find it easy to adopt after a few minutes of playing around. But you are paying a lot more for the Apple TV than the others and they do have a Apple TV 4K now which will make sense for your future usage of 4K needs. Pros: Ease of setup and use. Cons: The price and newer 4K device will quickly phase this one out.

I upgraded from the last gen version of the Apple TV to this one and I love it. The new interface is very clean and fast. The dedicated network apps and games are a welcome addition to the line. My only issues are the lack of 4K support and the audio search function only being able to search apps like Netflix and the iTunes Store. Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone.

The new Apple TV is great. Fast with more options than previous version. The apps are great,with something for everyone. The new screen saver option is fantastic with great definition for the new generation of tv. More new innovation from Apple.

I had the ol Apple Tv and I loved it. The new Apple TV comes with Siri and a track pad remote which makes moving through menus absolutely painless. The TV resolution seems much better as well. Leave it to Apple to improve an already great product

The setup is especially easy with your iPhone handy. It runs fast. Nice interface. Cons: No VUDU app or Amazon app. I wish it had a simple audio out (1/8" or optical) for easy connection to sound system

I was looking to upgrade from the previous Apple TV- so that I could use Apple Music and especially so that I could use my Bluetooth headphones- mission accomplished. Synced with the headset easily. Slick feel and performance- highly recommend.

It has it's issues. So does my Nvidia Shield TV. My Shield can do 4k, this can do 1080p. That's fine. 4k isn't mainstreamed enough in the home yet. It's a great device to develop for. The Siri Remote is awesome (other than for typing but it's better than the old remote) and the remote app now works with the ATV4 so no complaints. I definitely recommend the upgrade!

Great picture and responds at a high speed. Have an old apple tv upstairs and this is for my 75" tv in the basement. I'm still learning the new remote, it's probably an upgrade over the original but seems to be sensitive to the touch. Perhaps I will get used to this over time. I do recommend getting the new apple tv for large tvs, I think the picture is better.

I went in not knowing alot about Apple TV. I wanted to dump cable tv. I still havent fully decided on that factor but its there. The rep in the store was knowledgeable, but ultimately I went with my gut and bought it. I am so happy I did. The remote has an amazing feel to it, easy to navigate. The apps are amazing and free, you just pay to use some of them (like HULU and NetFlix etc) you can stream all your music to the Apple TV, movie shows etc. Its pretty much like having your computer hooked to your TV. I enjoyed it so much I bought two.

If you don't have any smart features connected to your tv yet then just buy this and call it a day. Now I'd bet that you probably have an Xbox/PS4, or a Roku, or a Amazon Fire, or even a BluRay or TV that can stream Netflix and do a good deal of other streaming. At this point you have to determine how much the additional features matter to you, but more likely if you are buying this it's because your like me and have many other Apple devices and it just makes streaming things to your TV/Entertainment system a total breeze. This takes streaming one step further with AirPlay for any iPhone/Mac/Apple product that you have which is quite convenient. It also gives you access to the entire iTunes Store for all the movies, tv or music that you could want. But where it really shines is in all of the network tv apps that let you watch programs on demand with your cable/dish login info. It is a well thought out product that lives up to the Apple standard that you have come to expect from Apple.

All start by saying I exchanged it for the 64 GB like the next day. Is not that I run out of memory or anything like that is just that when I searched the App Store and saw they had really cool games like Disney infinity 3.0 for example, I kind of figure it be better to have more memory. I'm really enjoying this new Apple TV. I had the previews one for about 4-5 years so I figured it was worth the upgrade. I like the addition of the apps, games, the new interface, Siri and all the new features. I got the nimbus game controller that Apple sells with Disney infinity starter pack and it's pretty cool. Really fun playing with the controller. If you are an iOS consumer meaning you buy movies, tv and so on from apple this is a must have for you... If not if you are an android user then it's up to you. My ecosystem is Apple so I figured this is a great addition. I'm guessing that now that it has an App Store Amazon video and so on will come soon to Apple TV which will make it even better.

I love this Apple TV so much better than the old one. You get the App Store which makes things so much easier and the swipe feature is so much easier to navigate. My favorite part is the remote is rechargeable. Beats buying batteries for sure

This version of the Apple TV is much faster. The remote is a nice change. I like the voice option. Not sure it's worth the extra money though. I have a Roku and am just as happy with it. If you are married to Apple though this is a great buy!

The new interface is pretty amazing. I have a PS4 and XBox ONE. Neither of them compare to the ease of use of streaming apps like Netflix and Hulu Plus on the AppleTV2. No regrets here.

Great new interface, awesome remote and faster response. Great product if you are replacing an old generation AppleTV or purchasing a new one. Only negative is there currently no amazon app, but works great if you are in the Apple ecosphere.

I've had the apple TV for quite some time now. It's perfect for streaming. I've got a smart TV and actually prefer to stream through the apple TV versus the built in apps on the TV. Love the new remote and SIRI feature.

This is a nice upgrade from the 3rd gen model. I love the fact that you can now use the app store to customize the apps to your liking. The added games feature is a nice plus too. The remote is now rechargeable and has some added functionality including Siri, but I find the sensitivity of the touch track to be a little annoying. Overall a very nice product.

Up to 2 months ago I used the 3rd generation Apple TV...which was great for what it did but I could not add any apps to it. I did plenty of research and tried a roku streaming stick, a much cheaper option, but the quality was horrible. I finally gave in and got the new 32 gig Apple TV and it is awesome. I'm no fan of Siri, but it works awesome here. Apps and games work great too. No 4K but I don't have a 4K tv so I'm good anyway. I honestly love this one and the only regret is that I didn't buy the 64 gig one.
