Cable is so expensive, and Apple TV helps cut down costs! Easy to use, AirPlay comes in sooooooo handy!!!!

I decided to finally cut the chord. I'm streaming live TV now and the Apple TV works wonderfully. Full high definition, remote works perfectly with the TV. If you have an iPhone or ipad, mirroring works easily where roku devices don't. Navigation through apps and menus is easy to do. Size wise, the box is very unnoticeable and it blends beautifully with any furniture. I guess the only negative is that you can't get Amazon video yet.

Man this was a great improvement to the Apple TV. It looks so much better if you're an apple fan you will definitely like this newer one, I didn't really get it for the apps but that's nice also.

I still use the older AppleTV but this is a great upgrade. Using Siri really helps find what I'm looking for and the volume controls are useful. You still have to put some things in manually (i.e. When connecting to wifi), which is inconvenient at times, but overall I'm very happy with the purchase.

I have Apple TV 2 and 3 and this Generation is by far the best of all of them. I am very invested in iTunes and have over 160 movies bought from iTunes, I love being able to have all my movies right at my fingertips. Menu system is so fluid, you can download apps from the App Store and you can play games on it. Plus the new remote control takes a little getting use to, but it is very intuitive (like being able to control TV volume).

It apple and it just works. Now that you can add amazon prime and YouTube tv is on the way. Easy to set up, with no instructions needed. I am able to stream audio to my bluetooth headphones, making it great for late nights when you don't want to wake anyone else in the room. Also, streaming movies from your macbook or iphone is simple with airplay. I use my apple tv more than any other media device in my home, period.

A very good improvement for the Apple TV. Interface is easy to use and Siri improves searches significantly.

Upgraded from a 1st gen to this one. Worth the money for the voice search feature and the Apps. The plex media app runs great on here in conjunction with my WD my cloud mirror.

We were in the market for an Apple TV for our Family room, and this one is great. The added storage within the unit allows movies to load much faster, without the start and stop we used to get.

Replaced older model Apple TV. Much faster and much easier to use. Tried Chrome and returned 2 days later. Apple TV gives you more options and Chrome doesn't play well with Apple devices

Bought this to replace my first generation Apple TV. Really like all Apple TV does. We use the mirroring a lot and like to look at photos on the tv instead of the phone or iPad.

I received apple TV as a Christmas gift. I had not used one before but I love it. I am able to view movies and watch Netflix. I have a variety of options rather than your average cable stations.

I feel that all streaming apps like Watch ESPN, FoxSportsGO, DirectvNOW etc. are optimized for the Apple TV 4 compared to other streaming boxes. I currently own an Nvidia shield tv and an Amazon Fire Tv both 2017 versions and the Apple TV 4 has out performed them with the apps listed above. The only complaint with Apple TV 4 is how hard Apple makes it to side load apps like KODI. I would abandon my other boxes if I could get KODI on this.

I've had it for a while now and it has everything I use it for and use it everyday for many uses. And I've gave these as gifts and they people use them everyday and don't have to use regular tv.

This is good streamer for Netflix and other movie apps. Thera not A lot of apps this this device. I have a Roku 3 is faster and smoother operating and doesn't freeze up like this new Apple TV. If you want a streamer get a Roku 3, not Roku 4. Roku 3 is great value. I bought Apple TV only for AirPlay.

The AppleTV setup was very straight forward and easy to program. Downloading the APP was easy and it is a bit confusing to use the AppleTV remote. The use of cursor movement and the selection switch is not very intuitive and without reading the user hand book, it took me a few minutes to get the hang of it. All the same it is a very useful equipment to have and with a smart TV, its functionality is enhanced by the ease of use of the device.

Upgraded my Apple TV remote handles like a mouse/touchpad. Voice command new feature on remote as well.

If you have been waiting for this to come out, go ahead and get it. The processor destroys the older models and is very smooth. The streaming in unbelievably fast as well. I highly recommend it!
