My third appletv, love the fact that I can access my iMac for my entire music library. I also use it for Netflix, YouTube, basically any streaming. My only wish is that I could access Amazon Video, I still have to use my Sony TV for that. The new remote is good but I had to give it a chance, wasn't crazy about it at first. Thought I would miss the optical out but hdmi only is working fine.

This is a great box especially if you're in Apple's ecosystem. But I wish there were more app support such as Twitch and etc. But I bought this for my parents to use as they stream their media via iPhone over Airplay since that app isn't on the aTV app store. It's fast and fluid, but lacking 4K output and etc. I would say pick it up if you're invested in Apple devices and media via itunes.

I updgrades from the previous model. The remote is a lot better. Wish it had 4k

Very easy to set up. The remote is very similar to an iPod. The draw back is you need to charge it but I don't mind considering I don't have to purchase batteries.

Never do reviews but I have spent as much on AppleTV boxes as I suspect any have and have experienced the lock ups and failures (average life is only a little over a year before issue dominate). The NEW Apple TV is an improvement but will still lockup requiring powering down. The touchscreen remote is TOO NARROW, it is hard to navigate columns because there is no width to work with. The big issue no 4K capabilities. If you are into the Apple infrastructure it is worth having to access your iTunes library remotely but if not - GO Roku, more reliable and the 4 has 4K streaming capability.

Best TV box till now. Great Siri remote. Searching any movie is so cool. Can download games and play them using the remote itself. Smooth gaming, no glitches. Love it !!

This is a device that will meet Your every need from wireless presentations to streaming all your favorite shows. We have one in every room in the house!

My family and I watch a lot of tv shows and movies. If we ever miss a show we always go back to the Apple TV and go the app we downloaded and there it is. Easy to connect, easy to use, doesn't take a lot space. The control is delicate so please be careful. Price is a bit high, but hey it's Apple in the long run it' well worth it. Thinking about getting another one for my daughters bedroom.

Great product ! Much faster then my old version. The remote is greatly improved.

I already have an Xbox One S and tried an Amazon Fire TV stick for a day, but nothing comes close to the ease of use of the Apple TV. Yes the Xbox One S offers 4K and yes the FireTV was very affordable, but with the Apple TV it is the amazing user interface which makes watching TV easy and reliable. If you are investing in a streaming device, spend a little more, you won't be disappointed.

I bought this for my mother for her birthday so that she can watch Cambodian YouTube channels. She doesn't speak English very well. It was easy for me to show her how to navigate the settings and find what she wanted (in this case, Khmer videos/channels). She learned really fast, and she loves it! She wouldn't be able to watch anything in our native language on regular cable.

This product is the best around for streaming television. I cut the cord several months ago and picked up playstation due. I had been using an apple tv 3 until the Vue app became available for the current apple tv and holy cow. Unbelievable how great the service works with the apple tv. It streams a fast beautiful picture. I'll never go back to a cable box. I loved it so much I bought a second.

Had old AppleTV and was unsure about spending the money - its definitely worth the extra cash. Now I find myself trying to use touch controls on my old AppleTV remote.

If you are already team Apple this is a must have for an exceptional cord cutting experience. The interface is smooth, user friendly and reliable. Just what you expect from an Apple product. I recently cut the cord and paired this streaming device with an over the air antenna (Mohu Air 60). It's nice to be in control of my programming without the great monthly expense of cable or satellite.

Solid, clear picture with more apps. A great solution for cutting the cable bill.

I use this product for my office television. It takes the place of cable service and allows me to project my iPhone and laptop on the television screen.

I love the new Apple TV 4. It has Siri, apps & games! I would definitely recommend it!

Between my smart tv and other 'smart' electronics I didn't really think I needed this but after I got it I haven't looked back. It is so much faster than the items I was using before and works great. The picture is better than the other products I was using and I've had no buffering problems when I'm streaming movies and music. I constantly had this problem before so that's a huge plus in my book!
