Overall I love this new AppleTv. I am an Apple user with all my devices, so this works great for me. I am sad that Apple decided not to support 4K at this time. But the addition of the App Store makes up for that. It also helps that I subscribe to many on-line video services, so the search function works great as well. The new remote with Siri is fantastic.

I own the last version of this and purchased the new version to have in my living room, because I liked the other one a lot for my bedroom. This is a fantastic upgrade. I find the remote to be more responsive. The old one you have to point directly at. The new remote you don't need to. I thought the voice control was a pointless add on, but I actually really like it, mostly for the fast forwarding. You can say "fast forward 15 mins" and it will do it automatically. Great for people who like to watch ESPN replays and get annoyed fast forwarding through the commercial breaks. Highly recommended especially if you have a lot of apple products.

We have had an Apple TV for several years. Purchased a new one to take one with us in our motorhome.. The newest model is much easier to use. The touch pad on remote is excellent. The organization of channel selection also works well.

I enjoy the latest interface and remote. Siri options are great.

In my oppinion this device is not all it could be. It could be a hub to prefect all things that pass into your television. Prosessing all services in a neat and orderly fashion, what I'm saying is this should be able to take a TV service such as Dish or Cable and make it neat and easily browsed. Apple TV needs to be Apple Tv + Cable Box all in one and it is not. If it had this I feel as if it would suit all my needs. the remote is sweet and I'm glad for the internal storage again. It has an ethernet port for faster DL-speeds and also supports wifi. You don't get the Ethernet port option in Cromecast or Amazon Fire-Stick. Its nice for the folks with all things apple because everything works seamlessly and in harmony. But if they could get some kind of gig with TV Broadcasting companies that would be great!!!

We had 3 original Apple TV's and upgraded one to the the technology. I love it! I'm addicted to the new, seamless interface and the touch-capable remote is so fun to play with! Highly recommend going with the new model vs the original!

Typical Apple ease-of-use, fits right in with our home setup and does what I need it to. I know that other streaming boxes stream 4K content, but it'll be years before I get a 4K TV so that part's not relevant. What is relevant is performance v price -- others may be cheaper, but this works with the apps I need, plays well with my iTunes library and has a great (albeit pricy) remote. Get a case for that, definitely. I'm hearing rumors of a new 5th gen device -- if that's on the way, just wait for it.

This is a great update to the previous apple tv model. Argubally the "worst" thing is the need to scroll to type out passwords etc, but you can just download the apple tv remote app and it works great. There are too many good improvements to even mention here. There is such a bigger selection of apps (like Food Network, yessss) and I really like everything the new remote can do. And one of my favorite things is the new Plex app for streaming your video content from the computer and the scrolling preview you get. makes it really easy to fast forward and rewind with ease. If you'e a general fan of the Apple environment and have an iphone, ect this is definitely the streaming play to get. (yes there is no vudu or amazon, but odds are you have some other device like a blu-ray player to use those apps).

For a streaming device, easy to hook up, easy to use, great picture quality and very reliable. No interruption of streaming video. Easy to maneuver, can use Air Play from any Apple device. Excellent product and worth the investment.

This version of Apple tv has a hard drive built in so downloading is an option, a great feature. The interface is so easy and clear, anyone can master it in minutes. Many apps are available and are really wonferful. I use it often.

Works as advertised. Faster than our old Apple TV. Siri is a great feature when your tired of pushing button. Installation was a breeze. Doesn't come with the required HDMI cable, so if your not upgrading , don't forget to get one.

I love my Apple TV, what can I say!!! I'm able to download quite a few Apps, and especially love Vevo for their selection of music videos. Easy setup, and remote is very simple to use. One of the best investments I've ever made.

With hesitation, we decided to "cut the cable cord" and move to a strictly streaming world. After reviewing products, we determined the Apple TV best met our needs. After using the product for the past month, I can safely say we made the right decision! It has performed exceptionally, is sleek and easy to use, and quickly moves through operations!

Can't wait for Apple to expand content, I waited years for the newest product to be released and its here.. remote is smooth, easy to work, powers TV on and off, with streamer sleep feature.. does not buffer just needs the apps

This is my third Apple TV. This new model is so much better than older ones. Much faster and many more functions including Siri a remote that doubles as a game controller and therapy,store. I look forward to many years of use.

Excellent bargain getting it as an open box purchase - but it is just as if perfectly new. It works well, lets me stream my music to my tv using Airplay and allows me also to watch movies etc. Great product.

The only negatives I have to list is that you can't plug in a usb drive and watch media that way or use headphones with the remote like a roku. Easy to use, works well. Tons of great features. Remote is great as well.

I have no prior experience with previous models of the Apple TV, so my review is based on experience with other Apple products such as iPhone, iPad and iTunes. This compliments my Apple family of products. I'm very happy with picture quality, major network apps and interaction of my iTunes library. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again based on my satisfaction of Apple products. Not sure about the people that give this a bad review. Maybe there are other non-cable related gadgets out there that work well with major network programs and others such as Netflix, but I have no complaints. This was a natural fit for me being an Apple user. I'm not an Apple snob or iSheep by any means, I simply enjoy having a number of different electronics and gadgets that work well with one another.

Great remote, great interface. Love the fact that you can download games and other apps. Smartest media player out there! Perfect for the casual gamer--you will love playing iOS games on a big screen HDTV using the new remote!
