With Netflix and the blu-ray, Apple TV seemed unnecessary. But it's so much easier to use than other devices. Plus it integrates so well with itunes, etc. The remote takes some figuring out because it looks so simple yet has more functionality than you might think. Quick, responsive, works great! Use it nearly every day now. Might get another for the other TV in the spare bedroom.

Voice commands work well. Selection of applications is easy. Easy to install.

This product has been a great addition to my TV watching habits. While it took me a couple minutes to get used to the interface, I've had nothing but success since.

Bought the Apple TV so i could stream all my iTunes movies. Love the remote with siri addition, ask it to find a movie or actor and it's very fast in finding results over multiple platforms. Games are also fun. Word of warning, and this is my fault, but you must have a great internet connection unless you want to wait hours for your video to load. Also wish it had support for a Vudu app.

The Apple TV is great. Streams whatever I want to watch and the picture is great!

If you're like me, you're so deep in Apple's ecosystem that using any other box is a painful experience. Over the years I've bought countless tv shows and movies on iTunes, and even uploaded more to my iTunes account. This box plays everything and more and with Amazon Prime TV coming soon, it'll be even better. The only downside is the lack of 4K support. Maybe in the refresh.

Lots of HD apps and easy to use functionality make the newest Apple TV a must. No issues so far with the 32gb version and feels it's perfect for the average user.

I Really like the PS Vue interface in Apple TV. The new remote is great too.

Works great. It found my sound bar and does volume without any agrivation. Automatically finds the tv output too. 1080 with theses and only 720 in the old ones.

I wanted to get an Apple TV but wanted to wait 'till this one come out. I love the Siri functionality that allows me to search movies by actors, etc. Just love it!

The Apple TV is very nicely designed and the software is pretty easy to use. However, the remote is the star of the show here. The trackpad-like surface on the top of the remote is terrific and feels very natural, especially if you've used a Mac. Siri support on the remote is also quite good, much better than on the iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Highly recommend the 4th generation Apple TV!

Both of my parents have come to love their AppleTV, so this was a nice upgrade. They both enjoy the voice search feature, as it is adequate for their needs. Overall, really impressed with the product.

Its a decent product but a little pricey. If you anyway have a smart tv or bluray player or gaming console don't bother. I also have the amazon fire stick and is, just as good for less than half the price

Easy to use and the new Siri remote is excellent. Navigation is easy and intuitive.

I had mixed expectations about the 4th gen Apple TV. We have a couple of the 3rd gen Apple TV units, and they work just fine, so I wasn't certain if spending the extra money for the new version would be wonderous or disappointing. Turns out, it's a bit of both. First, the hardware and software are great. No issues there. The real problem lies in the content providers not supporting this product. For those that do, the TV app is really great, as is the semi-automatic sign-in to new channels. For others (I'm looking at you, Netflix and Frontier Communications), the step up from the previous generation is more -- shall we say -- subtle. Probably the best feature is that -- unlike on previous versions -- the 4th gen Apple TV allows the addition of new "channels" where software is available from the content provider. This not only allows you to add channels that aren't on the device as delivered, but also to delete channels you know you're never going to use. (you could always re-install them if needed later). This allows me to have much the same channel lineup on my iPad Pro and my Apple TV, which turns out to be more convenient than I imagined. As support for tvOS improves, the TV app will become more useful at presenting an overview of what is available, without having to go into each channel to see what might be there. Can't wait.

I wanted to have a second "Apple TV" for the bedroom, and this one fit the bill. You can download the apps such as You Tube and Netflix so you only have what you want. The high def is great along with the 5G wifi connection. You can stream videos from your computer through ITunes. The only slight defect is that the remote is very sensitive, but that can be adjusted to your own touch.

Great product - apps are great, super easy setup, voice control is even better!
