I am not an Apple User, but I recently purchased an Apple computer, so I decided to but the Apple TV to go along with it. Great buy!

As a long time user of apple TV's; this product is leaps and bounds better than the last generation. The app store addition which enables all the new apps and content is most welcome. Please note that the device is smart enough to detect the type of HDMI cable you have and will not play full 1080p without the correct cable.

This is a great device when we want to catch up on shows that had already been aired. The remote control makes it difficult to enter letters and pricey to replace if dropped, but overall, it has been a great addition to our TV viewing.

I had read good things about Apple TV. I have Apple everything: the watch, a couple MacBook Pros, iPads, iPhones, etc. We are an Apple family. Why we waited so long to get an Apple TV I will never know. So functional, so much easier to share photos/videos, play family games and such. This is a great little device and the missing piece of our technology puzzle.

A ton of upgraded features in this new AppleTV make it worth the buy. I'm not that into games but the new search features and ui are pretty slick.

I had a second generation Apple TV which was having issues so I decided to get this one. Glad I did. Much faster, better OS, and remote. If you are used to iOS on an iPhone then you'll have no problem with this. Basically the same concept. Everything is an app you download from the App Store. The remote is the biggest improvement. Track pad is a little sensitive.

This is better than any TV service out there! It connects so easily to my iPhone. I rarely have an issue other than wifi which is the service provider's issue, not the Apple TV. My guests are amazed at how easy it is to use, even for non-Apple folks. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Plus, the Best Buy gang helped me make the right decision without any pressure!

To be honest you can save a lot of money by just getting the original Apple TV. The Apple TV apps are useless. My directv apps run fine on my friends original Apple TV but gets stuck buffering on the newer model (same wifi source...)

Simple UI with a simple remote. Easy to setup and use! Love it!

being a jailbroken 2nd gen owner for years, a big reason to upgrade is the airplay not working anymore on atv2 with iOS9 devices, and the tvOS store, which has a decent start in the number of apps. Can't wait for more apps that is fun.

While they are cheaper streaming options like Chromecast or Amazon Fire TV stick, Apple TV was convenient to stream Netflix, Hulu, HBO Now, along with the TV shows/movies that I've purchased off the iTunes store. Please note that the product did not come with a HDMI cable. The newly designed remote is very nice with a touchpad. Nice bonus that it can also connect with my Beats wireless headphones. It is more expensive than the other options so you might consider the other devices if you aren't part of the Apple ecosystem.

Not the holy grail of streaming devices many expected, but another great product from Apple. If you're buying it for the games, be aware that most are extremely simplistic in nature. This is not a replacement for a Playstation or Xbox.

This device is fantastic! Wasn't for sure if I should get the new one or save the money and just get the older version. I made the right choice.

We use Apple TV to present our board meeting presentations. My son saw it and wanted one to play his iPhone apps on the big screen. He loves it.

I've wanted an internet connected device for a while and I finally decided to go with the latest version of Apple TV and I'm thrilled. It was super easy to set up, although hdmi cable was not included. I love that I can watch Netflix, rent movies from iTunes and access my previous iTunes purchases. Highly recommend this product. I love it so far!

Completely happy with my purchase! I had a Roku prior to purchasing the Apple TV and don't know why I didn't purchase this sooner!

I purchased this for my husband and he is thrilled. He watches series at his own convenience and loves it. Great purchase and worth the money!!
