easy to use & maneuver through set-up especially if used to apple products. Quality is good, app downloading is easy, I like being able to rent movies from iTunes. We got rid of our cable boxes and replaced with this device, there are still costs for getting the programs you want but less expensive than cable.

Love this product!! I buy all my movies through iTunes so it made sense to buy an Apple TV. I had the option of the first generation or this and I chose to upgrade to add on to my house to out in my kids playroom. This version is so much better as it is easier to search and find what your looking for. Highly recommend

I've used pretty much every streaming box/stick and this is among the best. The UI is nice and everything is pretty snappy. It would be nice if it had Amazon Video though. I'd say either this or the Nvidia Shield are the best options unless you want to go cheap and then I'd probably just go with a chromecast.

I like the Apple TV. They have a variety of video streaming channels and games. My children, my husband and I enjoy it.

This is really really good we have two of the older generations in two of our other rooms in the house and this one we placed this one in our living room. This one is far better then the older ones. Way more apps that we are able to down load, the voice activation is fantastic, all around a great product.

Setup was relatively simple. Typical apple ease of use. storage really not needed unless you play games on it.

This is completely customizable with the apps that you want on there. This requires several streaming/cable services, but this product is great if you have access to those. If you do not have access to other services, then I would hold off until you get streaming/cable services. Plus, the remote is straight fire.

If your an Apple user this is definitely the way to go. All your iTunes movies will sync up seamlessly. The menus are simple and easy to navigate. My only complaint would be that certain Movies don't offer iTunes download only ultraviolet movies which there is no direct App for, I have to stream it off my iPad.

I am a big fan of apple products, but the Apple TV just seems like it is lacking more features. Roku seems to be taking the lead in this category. I like the Siri option and the ease of use on the remote. The way it looks is sleek and like able. But it is lacking in the app category... I think I would recommend either the apple or the Roku but leaning more towards the Roku....

Excellent if you primarily live in the Apple ecosystem. We use it predominantly for DirecTV Now, Netflix, and watching movies purchased on iTunes. It is terrific for these applications. It will also play .mkv files off of our NAS through the VLC app, which is a nice additional bonus. It does not have 4K or HDR, which is a bit of a bummer. If you really are looking for the best picture possible, wait for the next generation or look elsewhere.

So much faster than apple 3. Siri is a plus,so is being able to choose your own programming! Definitely recommend!

It consolidates almost all of your streaming apps. very fast interface but still very buggy with certain apps. Needs to be restarted several times per week

This is a great concept especially if you have netflix or other streaming options. The quality is pretty clear and its nice to see stuff on a larger screen. I do wish that they would improve the remote control as its really easy to accidentally pause or cancel a playing movie so that's a design flaw I also wish there was a way to access online content so if we wanted to play something from a particular website we couldn't just go online and do so and therefore this is only useful if you are able to stream stuff from hulu or netflix etc or purchase content on the app store.

I have gone off of Cable and Apple TV makes it nice. Works well and would recommend it over other options.

I upgraded from the previous Apple TV to this one and am very pleased. The track pad for navigation is my favorite feature by far. My only gripe is that the App Store is lacking. Overall, I'm satisfied.

I love my Apple TV. It is really easy to use and switch over to. I am watching old movies and tv shows that I bought years ago and forgot about. I can watch stuff from Amazon Prime from my iPad. My niece and nephew love the games that you can play with the remote. I don't know how I lived without this thing.

It's great. Wish it didn't take Apple 3 years to make this. It's really good don't know if you need the 64 gigs or not.

I use a MacBook, an iPad, an iPhone and now the Apple TV. I love that I can switch back and forth between platforms and display anything to my tv which Is way larger than my portable screens. As an added bonus, the benefit of having all of the apps (Hulu, Netflix, HBO, etc.) is amazing. Definitely worth buying.

Auto syncs with your tv for full control (power/sound) and can auto setup to your account using any other apple device.
