There are new features that are great. Siri works well for searching for movies/tv shows across all apps. There are more streaming apps than the cheaper Apple TV. Also, it is now easier to skip forward and backward in small increments. Apple music is a plus over the older Apple TV. However, there are still some frustrations. Specifically, adding to the current queue is frustrating. Overall navigation of the music queue is clunky.

I have a cheap dvd player and it broke, went ahead and bought this and could not be happier. the voice function doesn't work all that great but otherwise it is a great box to watch netflick and get different prices on movie rentals

Very quick to change from TV viewing to streaming from my iPhone. Can't believe the quality of the image.

We bought this to replace older Apple TV. When we first started using it, we were unable to download any of the apps - from the App Store it would automatically go back to the home screen. All it needed was to have an upgrade installed and now works as promised. We are very happy with it!

Great product with this newest generation. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about buying.

Why I did not get it sooner? !!! Had to dump my DSL for a blazing fast cable internet to get it to work

Before, Apple TV came with the most useful apps and that was it. Now you may have many more options, but you need to download all of them -even though remote control improves it's still a pain to write all names in the search- and worry about storage. Not sure if it's still so useful since every TV now comes with similar apps and features.

We have the first generation Apple TV as well. The newer version isn't really worth the extra money unless you plan to play games on it.

Apple TV is great and all yet I think it's stupid that it will not broadcast Amazon Prime Instant Videos.

Bought the apple TV after a friend had introduced us to it. We have one at home and I have one at my office for training purposes........best thing we ever bought. Anytime we want to put our iPad or Mac on TV in a split second we turn on apple TV and we are good to go. LOVE IT!!

I bought this with the intent of creating a home automation hub. I haven't set that up yet but the use of the new remote was worth the purchase. The added ability of Siri was good but also volume control and the touch pad. The operating system upgrade runs smoother and faster as well...

They have made the Apple TV awesome with this model. (4th gen) Siri remote. I love it. I can talk to text now on Netflix. The touch pad which is glass. Is so smooth how it functions. The App Store. Awesome. It suppport Apple Music subscription. It will be a great addition to any tv.

I had one of the first versions of Apple TV which I loved while I had it but as the years went by it started slowing down and having issues. Now that I've upgraded I can't believe I waited so long. The remote is a huge upgrade and Siri integration is clutch. Overall very pleased!

I bought this for my daughter and her husband since they are expecting their fiirst child! They love it!

Got this as I needed something that would allow me to stream items from my apple devices to my tv. It was super easy to setup. I couldnt believe it. Removed from package, plugged in, answered a few prompts and bam it was working and i was streaming movies in less than 5 minutes!!!!

Easily my favorite way to stream my video programs. I have chrome cars ultra and Roku 4 .Roku 4 is a close second but this is more convenient accessing channels on my PlayStation Vue. Can't go wrong if you cut the chord with this or Roku 4. For $20 more I'd recommend the Apple TV

My daughter is at school and doesn't have time for watching much tv. Her tv wasn't very smart. It is now! It was easy to set up for her on a quick visit. She watches exactly what she wants to and when using apps like Netflix.
