I have been waiting for years for Apple to upgrade the AppleTV. The upgrade in changes is definitely desirable, simpler interface for many things, but a few quirks. At first Apple had disabled the remote app compatibility for iphones and ipads, which is much easier for entering login information or even searching youtube for clips, but the've since amended due to complaints. The remote is awesome, it's bluetooth so doesn't have to actually be pointed at the device and has a much more palletteable sound when scrolling. The one thing that sucks is the new Netflix interface. No longer can you easily access genres or your list, rather new movies and recommendations based on previous watches dominate your screen, which isn't always the most useful, sometimes you just want to browse for new things. That's my only gripe.

I love this version of the Apple TV. I love the option to download certain apps instead of all that usually comes with it. Love the Siri button too

I have had an Apple TV since the first one came out, and as much as I have loved my older AppleTV, you could tell it was getting a little outdated, and in need of a refresh. Love how smooth and quick the interface is, huge difference from the older layout and interface, with this new device, it brings it closer to how an iOS device is used. Another great upgrade was the addition of Siri, although at first I thought I would probably never use, since I truly never really make use of it on my iPhone or iPad, but surprisingly I have used it considerably with the new generation, its so much easier than having to use the trackpad on the remote (yes, there is a trackpad on the remote). Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to have a device that can access the majority of the entertainment options available currently such as Netflix, Hulu, etc I am even using it to view live over the air TV via Plex using my Tablo device (just waiting for Tablo to come out with their native AppleTV app).

So much better than the previous Apple TV. This one is a game Changer it is my preferred way to view streaming content. Completely worth the money

My cable bill continued to climb so I downgraded and got the Apple TV. I love it so much! I love that I can use my voice to search. The remote is so easy to use and it's easy to maneuver through. I can use music and App Store seamlessly. AirPlay is perfect. Since Amazon prime is not available I just load it on my phone or iPad and send it to the TV. #happyConsumer

I love my Apple TV, can easily access Netflix and Hulu as well as all my movies. Siri and the touchpad on the new remote are great improvements.

So easy to switch back and forth from apps. New remote is amazing. If your looking for a device to run Hulu and Netflix Apple TV is were its at!!

Finally decided to upgrade to this generation of Apple TV from my old ones and I've enjoyed the new features with the remote and Siri. It's nice having it paired with my iPhone or iPad to allow for using the keyboard on each or telling Siri what to type. If you like to stream movies or use AirPlay, I think this is as good and easy as it gets.

Game changer the remote is pretty decent and well made also the new app feature allow to play game and great streaming device for iOS devices.

I bought the new Apple TV to upgrade my older Apple TV and was not disappointed. The new App Store and use of siri are only a few of the improvements. The sound and picture quality are noticeably better. If you have an iPhone iPad or Mac the Apple TV is a must. Playing music movies or videos from an apple device to the Apple TV works great and simple to use.

Great streaming device a lot more apps to choose from and download. Picture quality is very good, I'm enjoying the extra bells and whistles.

I love all the new features an the remote swipe feature is awesome. The addition of the app store to get apple tv apps is really cool as well

they really have done a great job with this. it is the way it should have been at first. the addition of apps makes this extremely useful.

I needed to upgrade from my Apple TV 2 and this change was very welcome. Great picture quality, fast, and the addition of games is great.

Much faster than previous generation. Easy to connect to iTunes on my pc to get to my full library. Apps are easy to load.

Easy setup and works like a charm. Replaced my old AppleTv I've had for years and this thing is so much sharper... Get it!

The new AppleTV works flawlessly. The blue tooth connectivity allows it to be hidden behind the television so line of sight is no longer an issue. We installed it in multiple conference rooms in a law firm. Project documents in the room we are in or broadcast the screen into a neighboring conference room. Also, the Siri-enabled remote (though more limited than the Siri-telephone) is a nice feature. You can change volume and use the remote like a mouse. All are nice additions over the previous remote. There is a slight lag between what is on the computer screen and what shows up on the video monitor. This is bothersome enough to know the rating down a notch. This does not seem to be a problem for videos, just using documents. Otherwise, this would get five stars.

Great features, definitely improved from prior generation. Like the apps, faster speed overall and new remote is faster for navigating

Very happy with the new Apple TV. I upgraded from 1st Gen Apple TV and couldn't be happier. Siri and the touch remote work flawlessly.
